Fat Daddy's Barbecue

Ok so this is the new BBQ place downtown. Great location. They did a wonderful job on the renovations. Ordered the 3 meat sampler so I could try several items. I chose ribs, pulled pork, and smoked chicken. Sides were potato salad and baked beans. All the food comes out with out sauce and they provide three sauces on the table. Sweet, hot, and hot & sweet! The sauces are definitely different than what I am used to but they are ok. Ribs... had a sweet glaze that was really good. The ribs were pretty tender, and I actually enjoyed them more with no sauce added. Pulled pork lacked flavor, so I added the sweet and hot sauce mixture. The smoked chick was the best. Excellent dry rub and the chicken came out juicy. Baked beans were as expected nothing to jump up and shout about. The potato salad is mustard based and they add black olives and carrots. Probably will not get it again in the future.. Great service and a clean new restaurant... check it out.

Just visited Fat Daddy's for the first time and I was not disappointed! It was delicious. I ordered BBQ Nachos to go and had a great experience from the moment I walked in. The employees greeted me and were very friendly while I was ordering. While I was waiting for my to go order, one of the employees offered me a sample of one of their meats (Turkey -- AMAZING!) and gave me a cup for water. The location seemed very clean and inviting. My nachos were great! I got them to go so they were given to me deconstructed and I built them as I went, but I loved it! Great serving size and value. I got the sweet BBQ sauce and it was just right! Thanks!

Awesome food. Amesome staff. Brook our cashier was so patient and attentive. She answered all our questions and was not annoyed at all. Kim was a server (not our server) but she came to our table to ensure that we were taken care of. Tamara same as Kim did the same. We were so pleased with the staff and the food that we complimented the manager on staff on our all around over the top experience. This is a wonderful place to eat. I was VERY pleased.

The chicken tenders were really good, but I wasn't super enthusiastic about the sides. The potato salad has olives, so be careful. I had some fried pickles and those were delicious, even more so the next day. It's a big place, and the wait time is pretty good. Everyone nice, I just wish my sides would've been as knockout as my chicken and pickles. Oh well! Still a good place to check out.

Food was good. Service very bad. The girl taking orders never greeted us or said anything to us. We asked if we ordered there and got a yeah from her. She took our order, we paid. Nothing from her, I asked if we could sit to the right side, sure is what we got. Tables were not clean, asked a server if she would wipe our table, got some excuse that tables were clean just sticky from varnish. We sat down and after about 5 minutes another server told us we get our own drinks. So fried mushrooms were fantastic, onion rings perfect. Food gets 5 stars, servers 2
