Taqueria Gonzalez

So I have been driving by this place for a month or so and on a whim pulled in to check out the tacos. So I get to the counter and check out the menu. It’s a limited menu which is nice because you don’t have to sit there and have that mental argument of what am I eating today! I ordered 4 tacos (they are smaller street tacos) Steak Chicken Shredded beef Beef tongue The tacos were delivered to my table with in a few mins. I have to say that the flavor was very good on all the tacos. Where they the best tacos I have ever had probably not. Where they a really good taco. Yes they were. Restaurant was very clean and the service was great. I look forward to going back and trying some additional tacos!

It’s great to hear Conway is expanding its foodie culture by introducing a new authentic Mexican taco place. The locale looks nice, clean, and new. The service is impecable at this small family owned restaurant and the food is amazing from the soft quesadilla like “mulitas” to the crunchy fried tostada like “vampiros” and of course the Mexican street tacos. The menu is small and simple enough that you don’t get lost in the options but there’s also lots of room to grow. The only negative is parking and location, being right on Dave Ward it can be hard to get to. It’s still worth it though. Definitely keep an eye on this up and coming spot.

The tacos are small, tasty, and cheap. Quesadilla was also tasty if a bit messy. Only complaint was that the vampire style taco/tostada was too crunchy, more hard than crunchy really. They also provide a spicy red salsa and a milder green (tomatillo I think) salsa which are both quite nice. The avocado sauce that comes on some is very good as well.
