Hardee's

Great Breakfast meals period for a fast food restaurant. The bacon, cheese, egg biscuit is good choice. However, the biscuits and gravy are exceptional with bacon. The gravy is more of a traditional southern style (not runny but not too thick). However, be prepared to wait in line at the drive thru (mainly for Breakfast). I have seen the traffic to actually go into the Main Street at times. But, the workers are pretty quick and keep everything moving decently. Prices are not bad compared to other fast food places. <<The burgers are popular for protein power.>>

How on earth can you serve someone a burnt biscuit? Also I ordered CRISPY bacon and EGGS. they never answer their phone so you can’t even call and tell them they messed up your food. I’m so mad right now. And I know it might seem silly to be mad over this but it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I come thru there. Does no one know how to read a screen up there?

Horrible service, manager wasn't any help to the situation. I was visiting the area and I promise you that if I am in the area again, I will never eat here again. Will definitely eat somewhere else. The tipping point for me was when the manager was more rude than the cashier and would not correct the order that the cashier messed up. The gravy looked like cottage cheese and tasted bad. Not only was the service bad but so was the food. At 8am with no cars there should have been a sign for me that this is a bad Hardee's and others have had similar experiences.

I have to say I extremely disappointed with the experience I had today from the lunch menu. I have been to this location (S. Jefferson in Cookeville, Tn) for the breakfast menu several times, never had a complaint. We decided to try the new primal burger and the entire experience has been horrible. So we had 2 primal burgers, regular burger and fries with a order of onion rings on the side. What to start with.......... The onion rings they put on the burger were so hard I couldn't even bite through it. The fries were so soggy the bag they were in was saturated in oil. Almost like the oil wasnt hot and they just sat in it forever. When I called and talked to the manager of the store all she had to tell me every time I mentioned something was we just dropped them so I know they were fresh but in the same conversation said they sat on the warmer for awhile before being put on the burger. Never once did she offer to make it right !!!! Apologized, but told me she knew it was good. How can it be good when YOUR customer has told you it was horrible ?? Tried to charge me 46 dollars and when asked why the heck it was that high realized she charged an extra burger... Now, seems to me the whole thing was a joke ..After the price was corrected it was 27 dollars for a meal except for the original burger was all thrown in the trash....that's how bad it was !!!!!! Biscuits have always been burnt..... their employees either dont care ... or somehow through a terrible upbringing... think this is how Biscuits should be .... management is clearly too nice to put their foot down .... Its sad because their lunch is always good .... but thats not what Hardee's is known for
