I had so much fun there ! Such a chill place with a great vibe. The view was amazing and the staff were so nice and helpful. I wish we had one of those in Canada. The latte was also very delicious. Can’t wait to go back. I’d recommend this place to anyone for for a great food experience.

The Strand at Coolangatta was a little quiet today but still the Japanese Noodle shop and Burger Shop were buzzing as people came off the beach hungry. The secondary street behind also has great stuff - I had some delicious curried cauli and pakora from Govindas. Authentic delicious. I love the Coolangatta strand - so connected to the beach just like my childhood days.
At the end of The Strand is Pont Danger? The most eastern point of the Australian mainland. It is very scenic and praceful

Went to go and get my hair cut and had the young bloke james! He was absolutely brilliant and did an amazing job! Gave me a fabulous cut and recommended me so many great products to use! :)

The obligatory shopping centre in the middle of their town, good addition, has been there for years. Lot of store changes within the actual shopping centre probably due to the C-19 implications.
Most of the stores are doing the best they can, and a few of them have their price points as high as a wounded bull. I can only imagine it’s partly due to the rental price point they have to endure.
Clean and tidy enough, nice way to while away a bit of time.
No photos taken as it was a little busy and I did not want to invade anyones privacy.

Lots of vacancies and run by a landlord that doesn’t understand food and beverage. Maybe they understand retail better. They will extract every last dollar out of a tenant when they are trying to do their best to create a viable business.

I’ve been to a few Strands, but this one is not to be missed. More variety and personality than a Westfield with plenty of ripper shops.

Everything you would want plus excellent Cafes and restaurants too. Teaching line dancing 🕺 while I was there too. I'll be back.
