Ribs & Burgers Craigieburn

Delicious food and great customer service always! We had the lamb ribs, chicken wings, grain salad, cabbage salad, and sweet potato fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. Lamb ribs are always exceptional and did not disappoint this time around either. (Chicken, lamb and beef are all halal. If you specify that you want halal food then they use BBQ sauce instead of normal basting for the ribs) The staff are very cooperative and friendly. Highly recommend dining here and will definitely visit again

Was once fantastic but i feel it maybe losing its sparkle. Previous visits have been nice and the food was usually top notch and mostly warranted the extremely high prices paid. But most recently a lunch time visit was not the most enjoyable experience had by my friends and I. The place could do with a bit more attention to cleanliness e.g the place smelt like burnt toast for an hour straight indicating the toaster was in need of emptying of a huge amount of burger bun crumbs. For the prices asked i felt disappointed.

Was at Ribs and Burgers Craigieburn tonight and was served by Rose. Have nothing but good things to say about the food , and the service we received from Rose was first class. She was extremely nice to talk to and gave us very prompt friendly service with a smile checking on us to see that we were happy with everything. We were very impressed with the food and the high standard of service that Rose gave us and would highly recommend Ribs and Burgers Craigieburn, we will definitely be returning

Small mini review ( will definitely update when we do eat here and it's DEFINITELY on the list). Saw how busy this location was and decided to look at their menu. I noticed they had a peppermint tart and I was sold!. First and foremost Big thank you to the excellent hostess who took my order for a takeaway dessert- it was made really quickly and I appreciate that. Secondly. I'm from South Africa and every year for more than 2 decades. My aunt has made a peppermint crisp tart for Christmas. I was obviously not home for Christmas last year and this dessert is so close to the one my aunt makes.. I genuinely couldn't be happier. Thank you so much! ( can't wait to be back to try the mains. Another lady I spoke to who was waiting for a takeaway meal highly recommended it and said your staff is absolutely awesome) Edit: we ate here and holy sht their food is amazing. ( even came back a third time with my cousin). Ribs so soft it's unnatural. Definitely recommended trying their shakes. Milo was alright and my partner had the coookies and cream which was better. However when we came again I tried the vanilla malt and that was pretty amazing. Wings are also super soft like it just slips off the bone. It IS a tad expensive for 4 wings but it's good food.

to date, i've been here twice.. my order usually includes burger (wagyu beef) and ribs.. The burger was great. With the right amount of sauces and the beef was delicious. Ribs, well done..taste good, maybe would have been better for my personal taste if less sauces, but overall really good.. ( if you're ordering ribs check the weight due to different sizes) And gotta love the fries.. Besides the food.. staff is really friendly and welcoming.. nice interior redesign too.

UPDATE - May 2022 Ordered beef ribs, no basting and no burnt. So I found out that "no burnt" is not a possible option. Simple reason: if they don't burn it's going to be more or less a piece of boiled meat (slow cooked), because it's pre-cooked, probably arriving at the venue ready to flame. The flame provides that smokey roast flavour. BUT, it's burnt... See the picture, where the piece at the bottom left has had the black burnt crust scratched away. Needless to say that burnt meat is one of the well known triggers of cancer. At least if you consume it more than just very rarely. I have an idea: why not checking if the franchising might be open to a small steak section in the menu? And anyway, Craigieburn is ready for a steak house. What are we waiting for? UPDATE - 23 April 2018 After the "al-lamb & all-sweet" bad experience and bad review (see below), following the answer of the owner (thanks...) I went there again and ordered the same Beef ribs, but this time without basting. It took more time than usual but finally there was no Middle-Eastern sweetness all around and the ribs were OK. The "Cabbage & Apple salad" had Pine-nuts instead than apples (fortunately I am not allergic...) but it was good. Not more than three stars, however, because the meat was overcooked... I noticed that some other reviews mention different problems with the cooking, and this could be relatively easily improved with more STAFF TRAINING, and, why not asking customers HOW cooked they would like their ribs? I know it's going to be tricky with the bone, and I'm not suggesting the same grades used for steaks (too complicated and this is not a steak house, so...) but just asking if they want them WELL-COOKED or a bit less... I will go again and update ASAP. OLD REVIEW Craigieburn is not exactly in the Middle East and so, if you wish to eat some good 'standard' ribs you should go somewhere else. I ordered beef boneless ribs and they tasted 90% lamb, because they had been probably cooked or marinated together. But the main issue is that here EVERYTHING tastes sweet, according to some Middle Eastern taste. Please give the option of ordering PLAIN ribs, and grilled them without any sauce. Let customers decide what sauce, what marinade, or nothing at all.
