Casterbridge Grill

I stayed here for one night before flying to Italy. The room was big and clean and the bed was really comfy. I ate in the restaurant which seemed to have a really good system of ordering food via a tablet that was on the table. It turned out that it wasn't so good as I ended up with other people's food on my bill and the staff seemed confused about which table to bring food to. The hotel has a shuttle that goes to the airport - I think it cost £4. It ran on time and was an easy way to get to the airport for an early morning flight. I would stay here again.

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. After being night stopped on my.connecting flight to Malaga after a 14 1/2hr flight from Hong Kong and being told by my airline make your own over night arrangements we will reimburse you, I was exhausted and desperate as all the airport hotels were booked. The staff at Courtyard LGW reviewed their stays and we’re able to arrange for me to get a much needed few hours sleep in a comfortable, clean room. This is customer service at its best.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Courtyard by Marriott London Gatwick Airport for a two-night business trip, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. One of the standout features of my stay was the room. It was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The highlight for me was the dark curtains that effectively blocked out the morning light, allowing me to sleep longer than I usually do. Dinner was a pleasant experience, and I appreciated the convenience of having a restaurant on-site after a long day of work. However, one aspect that left me slightly disappointed was the breakfast. While the quality of the food was decent, I felt that there was a lack of variety in the options available. I will definitely come back to this hotel again.

This was a good option for us with an overnight layover. The beds were not very comfy but clean and there’s a restaurant on the premises with decent food. Overall I’d recommend it but I don’t have anything to compare it to either. But in a pinch, this is a safe choice. 10 min walk to airport or an easy and cheap 3 min bus ride.
