Fast Lane Diner

We have really enjoyed our stay here. We were able to check in early for 10£, then we grabbed the hot all you can eat breakfast. It was delicious and exactly what we needed after a night of very little sleep. You can tell the Managment really cares and wants the guests to have a good experience. The staff was very very friendly and helpful, also what you want after little sleep. The early check in was so nice so we could sleep. The beds were very comfortable and clean, and when traveling, that’s not always the case, so again, really niice after very little sleep. The rooms were also quiet. We saw reviews about AC not working well but ours was amazing. Super cold. We loved the convenience of the restaurant downstairs. There’s a new coffee machine that I’m pretty sure is also always open. So it was niice to have that convenience because there isn’t much in terms of walking. The Robert was amazing. He really helped us pick our dishes and insisted my Fiancé get her sauce on the side because she doesn’t like spice and we are very glad he did because it was too spicy for her liking. Overall a very pleasant experience, enough to have me write this review. Good night.

Room - The bed and pillows are very comfortable. If you need a good sleep before or after your flight, as an airport hotel, it is a good choice. Great value. But don’t expect nice decor. NOTE: IT IS VERY CLEAN. Location wise, it might be slight challenging to get from Gatwick airport for a first timer. There are supposed to be public transit FASTWAY. Buffet Breakfast - good selection. Check in - straightforward and efficient. Free internet in my room wasn’t strong. Maybe during the peak hours. Ice cream avail from vending machine

Easy check-in (frosty receptionist). Family room a good size. Bathroom good but could do with some tlc. Ms. Lourenco in the restaurant made us feel very welcome at dinner and was great with kids. Food was OK, small portions at dinner. Breakfast buffet style with a range of options. Plenty of car parking (for a fee), cheaper rate if you pay inside, at reception.

Arrived 1700 Saturday 15th for one night on way to Goodwood, staff were all polite, booked table for a meal mixed grill cooked just right, couple of pints in the bar, the only problem with the bar was the seating two seater sofas that have seen better day's, and are far too low to the ground i had to sit on the arm of one sofa (not very comfortable). It's a shame the hotel isn't nearer the town to have a walk, and possibly sample a drink else where

Excellent rates, very convenient location for heading to the airport. Staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, efficient and hard working. While the room was no frills, the breakfast was well worth the extra 8.50. There is also a Tesco Express just 0.2miles away, so you have plenty of food options. Bus stop for Gatwick bus is literally on the hotel's doorstep and it is only 2 pounds. A taxi is 17 pounds to the airport so u would be silly not to use the bus.
