Bob's Steak & Chop House - Dallas Lamar

I cannot say enough about my experience at Bob’s Omni. I wish I could convey how incredible the experience was last night. I was greeted by the friendliest people and so genuine. I felt like royalty with the service provided by all the staff. The food speaks for itself and is absolutely delicious. I had a couple of dear friends join us and they were blown away as well. We shared Nuske bacon, scallops and each a shrimp and calamari. The Waygu beef was perfect from the way it was cooked, served sliced and the seasoning was simple and delicious. I had the sweet potato and the rest of the table had the lobster Mac and cheese. They raved about the taste. We all split the brownie Sunday and the velvety smooth coffee. It was impressive for sure. This was the most perfect evening, amazing service and out of this world food. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this.

Excellent Steakhouse in the Omni hotel. Service was phenomenal and the atmosphere is not stuffy at all. We ordered the scallops to start which were amazing! We had a filet and a ribeye, both cooked perfectly and the house potatoes which were good. We had various cocktails and wine then decided to do a vodka taste test which had surprising results. Our waiter was going along with all out shenanigans and I appreciated him for it. It was a great time and excellent food. Highly recommend

Perfection. We celebrated our 20th Anniversary here. They were so kind and made us feel like royalty. The food did not disappoint! 20 stars! Craig & Andy took time to describe every detail of what we ordered and checked on us constantly despite being busy with bigger parties. Thank you Bob's, for an awesome experience!

First time experiencing this Bob's Chophouse, located in the Omni Hotel Downtown Dallas. I typically go to the one in Plano and had to navigate downtown to get to this one Once inside, the service the lighting, the smells were all what is expected at Bob's Chophouse The service is every member of staff working to ensure your experience is the best ever The Food is nothing less than exceptional. We tried the fried lobster which came with two dipping sauces a Thai Chili and Lemon butter. This is a MUST have , it was visually appealing that we ate it so quickly we didn't have time to take pic The only downside and it's not really a negative, it's a small restaurant but once inside you feel like the most important person in the room

Ate there for my wife's birthday. They gave us our menus, and printed on the menu, was a personalized typed birthday message. Very nice touch. Cocktail Oak Fashion was great, crabcake was amazing, and even our salads were good. Steak was the best part though, cooked perfectly and seasoning was simple and delicious. Took home chocolate cake a sweet potato pie cheesecake. Both were extremely good.

Delicious dinner. Main dish took a little longer than normal, but it’s Friday night and the waiter acknowledged it. The tuna tartare is the BEST I’ve ever had. We’re from Southern CA and get some great seafood and sushi, and that tuna was incredible. Bread was warm and fresh and steaks were delicious. Wish I took pics for this review, but I ate it too quickly.

Booked a birthday dinner at another restaurant and had to quickly pivot to Bob's because of an unknown no kid policy at that restaurant. The GM at Bob's fit us in on a busy Saturday night, and we had a wonderful night. Why did I ever think to go away from Bob's? We've always had a wonderful time here and will return again. Thanks for saving our evening!

For the price I was a bit disappointed in the steak. It certainly wasn't up to pay with others I've had at Bob's. I had the 14oz Ribeye cooked medium and it was medium rare and way too tough for a prime cut. Plus my steak knife was very dull. I was sawing into this steak in the eye of it. Everything else was superb as always. Just didn't enjoy my steak for $60.

Had reservations for a Wednesday night for a group of 7 for a business dinner. Valet for the restaurant was right up front, very easy access to restaurant. (Not Omni Hotel Valet) Seated quickly. Atmosphere and ambiance was noce. Server was quick to attend and listed some very nice specials. Food quality was amazing! Service was amazing as well. The onion rings appetizer was a hit with the table (very large!) Probably not the best place for a larger group to have business discussions though, due to the number of people in the room. (Was a little loud). That is the only complaint which is really minor detail for most people. Lastly the desert was amazing and their creme brulee with fresh fruit was spectacular.
