The food here was totally delectable! I was very impressed. Very neat and clean. The food was pleasant to the eye as well as to the pallet. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was made fresh The customers faces were all filled with joy. There was every kind of sauce you could think of to put on your meat of choice. And it was good! The hush puppies left me wanting more. The grilled vegetables were awesome. Full of flavor! They take your order and when your food is ready they call you to come up. I was not disappointed here. I will definitely be back. I took the time to try the trout. The rice pilaf along with grilled summer squash and zucchini. The fried catfish was beautifully prepared and presented. I love the coastal ambiance here; it's incredibly laid-back and cool. The fact that you can place your order at the counter and they bring your food to you adds to the charm. I opted for the breaded fried filet and shrimp, and while it was almost not seasoned at all, I believe they did it to let the fish's natural flavors shine. Although, I did find myself craving a bit more salt. Thankfully, they provided an ample supply of tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, hot sauces, and salt and pepper. The hush puppies were amazing though For dessert, I indulged in the coconut pie and chocolate pie, and both were incredibly delicious. They weren't overly sweet but had fantastic flavors. I'm definitely planning to return and sample some of their other dishes.
