Flaming Cheese

I went just before noon on a tuesday. there were 2 other people in the place( a good time to go!). I was in the area and had been wanting to try their Pastitio. I admit, when it comes to pastitio , I am very picky. I had it often in Athens when I was growing up. this was just okay. considering American ingredients, it was not bad. the meal overall was very good, good value for the price. the service was excellent .

My husband and I stopped in from Oklahoma, it was our first time here and this just happened to be close to our hotel. Choosing food in a location you’re not used to can be intimidating to a couple of introverts but I was happy with the choice. The food was great, portions a little small, but service was good, the place seemed warm and welcoming. I wish the falafel would had been even just a tad larger. Some were close to the size of a cheese curb and sadly, I’m not exaggerating and I love falafel but they really did taste great. The hummus was nice and creamy and I loved how thick their tzatziki sauce was. The green beans were like none I’ve ever tasted before. They had a tomato base that surprised me with how well it paired together. But what stole the show was the baklava cheesecake- seeing the pics of it online really lured us in. And it was not disappointing by a long shot. Cheesecake? Baklava? Together?! 🤤😌 If we ever make it back that way, I’d like to try the namesake flaming cheese.

What a nice surprise, the place is amazing, they do not expect much people on a Sunday, so they did not have the chicken Alfredo, or the tiramisu cake, it is a small place, service is great and the food even better, a true secret well kept for those who dare be bold to try something new, we trying 2 different soups, the Lemmon- something it has rice inside and similar to chicken flavor but 10 times better, we also tried the lentil soup, super good, the juice looks like it could be spicy but is Not, chicken kabab are tender, the side of potatoes is a must, rice is white and Super good.

Very authentic! This place rocks! They have a pretty good menu with choices for everyone. It was my first time, but I’ll be back to try more. I ordered the classic gyro with Greek potatoes with garlic sauce. All very good. Plenty of parking and easy enough to find. The wait guy is nice and it’s clean and well lit. What more could you ask for?

Customer service was on point!!! Our server was very attentive, He was extremely polite, and understanding when we explained that we had never been to a Greek restaurant before. The food was simply oh my God!!! The pictures will speak a million words, I will definitely be going back for another visit in the future. This place was definitely trying out!!!
