Two Podners Bar-b-que & Seafood

Food much better than the to go preparation of my order. I ordered a turkey sandwich, greens, potato salad, two slices of cake. I wish my greens would've been placed in a bowl or cup to go so the juice wouldn't run on the inside of my to go container. I didn't want green juice inside my potato salad or soaking the foil wrapped around my turkey sandwich.

I live in Frisco and if you live in the area you know that there isn’t any decent soul food that far north. My friend and I decided to take a Saturday drive down to fair park area and eat where we found this gem! We both ordered a fish plate and I had sweet potatoes and black eyed peas, with cornbread. The food was hot and fresh and everything tasted like it was made with love. I can’t wait to come back to get my soul food fix. I also want to try the barbecue as I hear it’s pretty good.

They don't skimp on the meat! Excellent service plus... for a guy in a wheelchair. EDIT 11/30/21: They still pile the meat on! For the first time in my life, I had concerns about whether I could finish all the brisket on my plate. Unfortunately, the meat was chewy... not the flaky-tender beef I've come to expect at BBQ places (like Terry Black's). You're gonna need a toothpick. And, the smoke didn't jump out at me. But, the hot BBQ sauce gave the meat just the right zing... so I ate it all. The beans and the tater salad were serviceable... nothing to write home about. The ambiance of this place is more like a burger joint than a restaurant. But, the staff made the difference... they were very attentive and helpful. No condiments on the table, so I elected to do without black pepper... another trip in my wheelchair. $17 for a brisket plate seems a little high. But, I am certainly full. They have an open drink fountain, but I didn't need it. (But, why on Earth would you pay for a large soda?... like I did.) What a magnificent building! They've even got an elevator (for staff).

The food is fantastic the atmosphere lively and funny. Staff super nice and friendly may get a story or two😆. This establishment is very busy so please know or at least have an idea what you want to order. Also ask questions if your plate isn't representing the cost. When my oxtail got home I only had two I was like for $18. I called and they apologized it should have been more. This place had lots of people there that day, and they either didn't know what they wanted, how to order what combo or just plain getting on everybody last nerve 🙄. (Probably why my order was short 🤔) Although I have to admit it was worth it the torturous waiting. Everything was wonderful best part my Pittsburgh Hot Links and that wonderful Potatoe Salad 💯💥💫 Blessings
