One of my favorite Mexican food places. Simple, easy, not over done, good, reasonable food. 13b every time, and the bean soup is fantastic. Close walk from the train station.

I've been eating here since I was a kid. The best salsa I've ever had in my life!!!!! It's Hot🔥 & Spicy 🌶️, but you can't stop eating it because it's so good!!!!

I've been in Oak Cliff all my life. I've been going to Herrera's since the 80s. It's the best Tex-Mex in Oak Cliff. I gave the service 4 stars because the service is super fast and professional, but the staff isn't friendly. They are just to the point and do their job. The food is good enough to go back, but it would be nice to have a smile and quick greeting since I know they know my face. I don't even know the names of the people who have been serving me there for decades.

Great food, served fast for lunch, and the bean soup sample was free, just like the chips and salsa. Huge glass for sweet tea! I'm definitely going back.
