Malibu Poke

Quick, top notch ingredients, and tasty. I'd def come back here again. I ordered the spicy chili tuna small bowl to-go It was more than enough for a single person. You order at the screens when you enter, put in a numbered flag, and take a seat. It doesn't take long. The restaurant has a cute casual Malibu beach vibe. It was pretty calming actually. It wasn't crowded, but it looked like they had a few delivery or pickup orders ready to go when I went to pick up my order. When I got home, I decided to make my own Sriracha aioli to add to my bowl along with some of their chili oil they provide. It was very tasty. You should definitely give this place a try if you've never had it before. It's cheaper than buying the tectonic plate at Eatzi's and better quality and it's definitely cleaner than Sushi Axiom.

*New Kids on the Block “Step by Step” was playing when I walked in* Clearly the mood was already set by the amazing song playing when I walked in! This is honestly in the top 6 of my favorite poke places! The food is so fresh here! In my normal tradition I had to get two bowls because I’m always so hungry! One was on the menu and the second one I created myself! I did not expect the food to be so amazing! I ended up eating them both right there in the restaurant! PLEASE STOP IN TO THIS POKE BAR! This spot will not let you down if it does hit me up and I will personal tell you how Covid has ruined your tastebuds!

Delicious food and great quality ingredients! The sashimi grade fish really sets this poke spot apart. I love that they have cauliflower rice as an option although I’d consider doing the larger size if that’s your base. The only reason I rated at 4 stars is the pricing is a little on the high end compared to other fast casual poke places but given the quality of ingredients—it’s worth the price!
