The Old Warsaw

As a kid growing up in the 1970s in Dallas, I would always see the signs to the Old Warsaw establishment, but never got a chance to try it. Fast forward 47 years later, my wife and I were in Dallas for a Four string quartet concert at the Frontier Aviation Museum. After the concert I remembered seeing signs of the Old Warsaw steakhouse. My wife called and got us a reservation for 8 pm. Spoke with Al. We were sat close to the front by piano player where we were amazed by his versatility and beautiful sound. We were there late, the staff was friendly and attentive. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. So glad we decided to try the Old Warsaw Steakhouse. It was worth the wait thanks to Al and all the staff. Highly recommend them and we will be back. Marvin Espinoza

Delicious food in a restaurant that has the atmosphere of an old school Dallas fine dining establishment! Very cool and great for date night or dinner with family. We went to celebrate my birthday and were very pleased with the pre-set three course menu for $55. We started with fried goat cheese and honey and a light salad, which were both delicious. Our second course was steak, cooked to perfection, with crab meat and vegetables. Desserts for the final course were the fluffiest tiramasu and red velvet cake we have ever had, both spectacular! Definitely worth a visit.

We had a fantastic dining experience. Ali poured the drinks, huge pours. We had the escargot to start, then paired the lobster thermidor, Steak Diane, and fillet with a nice cab. The lobster bisque was the classic recipe, absolutely fantastic. All classics served in a one of a kind historic atmosphere. This is a bucket list place for all foodies and restaurant coinsures. Highly recommended.

Three of us went to The Old Warsaw for a business dinner. Immediately we were greeted and welcomed into the bar where we had drinks and some starters. The crab cakes had the perfect amount of spice, and the escargot was as great. We ended up hanging out at the bar for a couple of hours before we went into the dining room for dinner. The piano player took requests! Our steaks were cooked absolutely perfectly and had great flavor. We had a great experience: great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Will be back.

The atmosphere is unlike anything else in Dallas. It’s got that sultry lighting, Gregory is amazing on the piano (as well as witty), and Ali is an extremely attentive host. Service is impeccable. This isn’t the fast paced ultra chic/modern French cuisine restaurant…. No, this is a place you go to slow down… it’s classic. You go to the Old Warsaw to taste every hint of flavor in your wine while enjoying chateaubriand, or enjoy an old fashion with your crab cake… time stands still there. It’s a wonderful place to get away from the grind.

Wow! What an experience, 10/10 would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great spot for an AMAZING meal in Dallas. They give you options from a pre fixed menu with three different courses, including an app, entree, and dessert. Such good ambiance with a live piano musician that takes requests. I would recommend any local or someone visiting Dallas to check this place out!
