Rusty Taco

Pretty tasty. I went today, ordered a breakfast taco with Chorizo, a Migas taco, black beans and a soft drink. The Chorizo taco was pretty mild, but had good flavor. The Migas taco was really good, it has a bit of spice to it and I actually had to eat some of the filling before I could pick it up. To me, that is a good thing. The fried, sliced jalapeños on top were beautiful. The star was the black beans. I was able to pick out most of the cilantro (I know this is a personal thing, some folks love it, I think it tastes like soap). My first bite contained something crunchy. I thought maybe an undercooked bean, but that didn't seem right. I think it was pine nuts - maybe. Whatever it was, the black beans were excellent. I would highly recommend them. The only down part was I couldn't find any napkins...finally saw a roll of paper towels on the bar. Staff was friendly, music maybe a little loud, but generally a nice atmosphere.

I have to give props to Mateo the manager The food is ALWAYS hot and delicious. Anything a customer needs he makes sure they're taken care of! The crew as well is so kind and service oriented. We go every Wednesday because of the consistency in excellence of the food and service! Keep up the great work guys, thanks for everything Mateo!

Stumbled on this place by mistake. I ordered 1 chirzo and egg, and steak and egg on flour tortilla. I'll start with the tortilla, if it were a bit more fluffy, it would be the best tasting tortilla in dallas. It has a slight sweet taste to it that I find very delicious. The Chirzo and egg was definitely the better of the two I ordered. It was really good and wish I had ate the steak first, lol. As for the steak, my only grip, is that I do not like the cut of steak they use. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place!

Taco Tuesday! Chose this place bc they have non meat options and margaritas, yum. Next to the register on the wall is their "secret menu" which had fried jalapenos that I had to try. I ordered the fried Baja shrimp (#8), fried fish (#7), and veggie tacos (#6), as well as their seasonal blueberry pomegranate margarita on the rocks. It took a little more time for my food to be ready than it did my sister. When they called my name I went to the counter, got my food and one of each of their salsas. Fried jalapenos were good and came with a spicy sauce. I don't recommend dipping the jalapenos in it, it can't be a spicy overload. My favorite taco was the veggie taco, super flavorful. I wasn't a big fan of the fried fish, it lacked a lil flavor. The Baja shrimp was good as well, but could've used a little more Baja sauce. I was impressed with the margarita although the frozen margarita tasted a little stronger than the margarita on the rocks I recommend trying them out.

Tried a variety of tacos and they all had an amazing flavor. Tried the brisket, which is a classic street taco w/ cheese, onions and cilantro, the raja which was all veggies, shrimp taco (least flavorful) and lastly the fish taco where you could do fried or grilled. Nonetheless this place is slept on because these tacos are great, along with their customer service.
