Pei Wei Asian Diner

Giving 5 stars because Melissa is a ROCK STAR!!!! With the short staffing issue, it was pretty chaotic inside the restaurant yesterday. However, Melissa was handling it with such grace and was running around making sure every customer was ok. She gave us pick up people free drinks while we waited for our meals and was letting people be annoyed at her even though nothing was her fault. I saw 0 employees standing around or moving slow. They all did an amazing job. Give Melissa a promotion STAT because she’s such a gem.

Walking into this Pei Wei I had zero expectations. We had never been to a Pei Wei ever! I thought it wouldn’t be very good, as I usually eat at Panda Express. Panda Express doesn’t cook their food fresh, most of the time. The lady that took our order was very friendly. We ordered way too much, but the food was overall pretty cheap! The best part was that the food was made FRESH!! We got different Asian chicken dishes. General Tso’s and the orange chicken were my favorite!

I’ve been to other Pei Wei’s for awhile now but, this place On Knox St is wonderful. Young one at the register helped my girlfriend get something she loved to eat and was quick to place our order although it’s easy menu and you can’t really mess it up or is complicated. Food runner lady is a kind and awesome one TBH. I can’t THANK her enough for her hospitality.. on such a cold night like today, she bought us that warm feeling with that simple greeting of hers! She was proud of her job I guess, as if she was hosting tonight’s dinner. This is the first any only place when requested for Sweet n Sour sauce on the side, I was served warm(SnS) sauce which is unexpected. I was expecting a cold bottle or A container... never encountered such a thing.. you bet it’s chef’s sauce! Thank you very much. Clean place and we are gonna return!!

Used to be amazing but it was still pretty good. The girl who takes orders and handles the register I'd very friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended a dish for me and gave details that were so helpful. But, the guy who came to the table with our food was awkward and a little short with us. But it's definitely the best of its kind for a quick Asian bite.
