Maya's Modern Mediterranean

We really enjoyed out meal!!! We were so happy to have healthy, delicious food. The falafel, fries and chicken schnitzel are all air fried. Nothing was greasy. I haven't had falafel in 20 years because I refuse to eat fried food, so this was such a treat! I can't wait to return to this restaurant!

Ive come here a few times and love the food. Fresh, great portion size and always tasty. The roast chicken shawarma is so juicy and their salad is delicious. Nice to have a Mediterranean option in this shopping center—I’m always trying to find food that’s on the healthier side. Space is nice and bright and the owners and staff are all really friendly . Def recommend!

We love Maya's. It's a trustworthy go-to for family dinner at least once a week. Healthy, high quality food. The owner prioritizes sourcing quality ingredients and it shows. We love the kabobs, the salmon plate, the falafels and hummus. And, the harissa chicken soup is one of the best soups in town!!! We usually order doordash, but sometimes pickup on the way home. And, we've eaten there as a family many times, for both lunch and dinner. Love the casual, clean atmosphere. Order at the counter. They've got a couple extra large booths that fit a family and are good to keep little kids corralled.

Run, don’t walk, to Maya’s Mediterranean if you want healthy and super FRESH and tasty food. We have had a lot of Mediterranean meals, and the freshness, and spices used at Maya’s make it the best we’ve ever had. Love love love the lemon garlic sauce (ya gotta love garlic), hummus and also the grilled kabobs and “Kafta” (beef kabobs) as they use a special spice in the beef. But seriously: such good food! We liked getting the family style so we had meals for a few days.

We were looking for some healthy choices to dine and found Maya's . Great place, menu and food quality. Ample servings and a good value. Our only concern is we are not a fan of ordering at the counter because if you are not familiar with Mediterranean dishes or sauces, you feel rushed and is confusing. I think they should have pictures of their menu choices with a description. Same thing with the sauces and which dishes are best with them. Having to just randomly pick a flavor can be disappointing, as was our experience.

I tried a salad topped with salmon and both their hummus and baba ganoush. The salad was great but the lettuce definitely needed to be dried off more before packaging it. Had it with the tzatziki dressing and it was pretty good but needed a little more zing so I squeezed some fresh lemon juice on it at home. The baba ganoush was the star of the show and had a great smokey, garlickly flavour. All ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Service was a little disorganized after the original girl who took my order left the counter and I was left waiting for my food then sent out without half my order which luckily I noticed before I left. Ordered the same thing the following week but with the harissa dressing which was amazing.

Went out of my comfort zone to try some new, cultural food. It was good, though not filling. If you're looking for a light lunch, this will certainly do. A lot of what I ordered tasted a little bland or very much like lemon. Not sure I'd come back, just might not be my cup of tea food wise and that's okay. Service was great.
