Tony's Pizza And Pasta

When I walked in at 11:15am we were at about 2.5 stars at best. Guy was mopping the floors and cleaning tables... didn't smell pizza, just floor cleaner. Hmmm, so did we close early last night??? Well I got over it because at least they clean the place. Ovens are old but not a spec of dust anywhere. Most important, that was the best pizza-by-the-slice I've ever had... Above average ingredients. I could tell by the language being spoken they were Brazilian. Go figure.. New York style pizza. I know South Americans are very prideful and passionate people. There is an ongoing debate over who makes the best pizza, but these guys have it figured out. Dont change it.

I Hate Doing This but this is The 4th time now that I’ve gotten severely under cooked (almost raw) and Soggy Pizza, I keep calling and letting them know, I even ask for it well done to no avail. So here it is... 1 Star. I throw the pizza stone in the oven and re-cook the pizza on it (after my Tourette’s fit!) and it’s fine, but if I have to do that then I’m just gonna use Pappa Murphys Pizza and save time and money, it’s very aggravating! To think, a pizza place that can’t seem to properly cook a pizza. Their pictures on the flyer show perfectly cooked pizza! I sure wish I could get one that looks like that!!! Update 3.14.19: I’m changing the Star rating from 1 to 4 because the last 4 times they’ve sent the Pizzas cooked “almost” perfectly, some ask why do I come back...because of the taste, I Love the taste

If you go to TONY'S, you get great tasting, AUTHENTIC Italian NYC pizza! Having just returned from NYC this weekend and trying NYC style pizza, we found out about Tony's and wanted to try it. When you open the door, the door itself gives a clue that this might be authentic NYC...it has a big outline of the Empire State Building on it! We walked in and within minutes our pizza (ordered to go) was ready. It looked amazing as they pulled it out of the oven. The 20 inch is a MONSTER size...could easily feed 4 grown adults no problem, and that's the one we got. I talked to the manager or owner and she was friendly and seemed to have a NYC accent and I believe she was Italian. I think this might be an Italian family owned business because I believe they might have even spoke Italian to each other. The proof was when we brought it home. Man, this pizza was great! It was thin and tastey, and was even BETTER than the one we had just eaten in last week in NYC. We got the simple double pepperoni 2 topping, nothing fancy. Expectations were medium and this was above expectations. This is possibly the best pizza we have ever had. We will definitely be going back. Price was AWESOME too.

Amazing good pizza, we ordered the spinach lover and switched out the bacon with meatball, it was the best pizza we have had in DALLAS so far. Only thing was it took about 45 minutes delivered to our door , but I guess you can’t rush when you’re making quality pizza. Please do give them a try the pizza tasted great and it was really NYC style.

I posted before about having a bad experience with Tony’s. Today however, I decided to give them another shot and I have to say they redeemed themselves! The owner himself delivered my pizza and did what he could to give me a better experience. My pizza was hot, fresh and delicious! I’m so glad, since they have some delicious pizza! Thank you again!
