Ronnie's Catfish & More

First time coming to eat here and the fried fish and shrimp were off the hook (get it, lol)! I liked everything including their fries. The lady working in the front was real nice and friendly. I would have rate it a 5 star but gave it a 4 because they were out of pickles. I'll be coming back though and hopefully they'll have pickles.

Love hate relationship with Ronnie's, sometimes fish is fried just right and order is correct. Other times undercooked and missing pieces. When it's right it's good, just check order before driving off. They will re cook it. New menu with higher prices. You no longer can eat and/or wait in thr lobby. That's cool but please invest in a new parking lot. All the potholes are a hazard and there is not a safe place to sit in wait without ending up with a tire in a pit.

Not only's the fish good... the customer service is even better. Being a CASH ONLY restaurant... and me only having debit/credit cards. Ronnie the owner BLESSED me with my food for FREE. He said order what you want. This is what you call PAYING IT FORWARD. I now go once- twice and a week on purpose to shop this BOB. Support... Support... Support❤️

My husband and I tried this place for the first time, this past weekend. First, the positives: the food is very good! We both had the 3-fillet and shrimp combo, which came with fries, a few slices of pickles, and a few slices of white bread. Fish had perfect flavor--definitely fresh, and not frozen. Fries were good, and you get a good amount. The negative, regarding the food is, the "fillets" aren't actually fillets; they're more like large strips, which was a tad disappointing. Also, the shrimp are tiny, with LOTS of breading. The service isn't the best, nor is it terrible. The gentleman simply takes your order, then call your name when it's ready--not friendly, but not rude. Also, the building isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, nor in the best neighborhood, but those things weren't an issue for us (though it may matter to some). We definitely plan to go back!

Called ahead to place a pick up order. Hot and fresh in 15 minutes. Cash only. The store front may be small,but the cat fish fillet taste is BIG. Delicious flavor,crunchy and the fish is soft,not over cooked or dried out. The order comes with fries,triangle toast,lettuce,sliced tomato,pickles, pickled jalapeños, ranch,ketchup,tartar sauce and hot sauce. Good size portion for the price. The establishment looks like a neighborhhood favorite. Everyone was polite and nice. Elderly gentleman even thanked us for coming in.
