Definitely the most delicious cake you'll find in Dallas! We decided to go with FCBL based on taste alone, and we were not disappointed! Every flavor in their sample box blew us away, and we had a hard time choosing between them! Guests commented all night on how delicious it was, and ate so much that we only had 2 slices leftover! Our cake looked very close to our inspiration image. The manager, Melinda, was very friendly and prompt with all communications. The tasting experience is a bit inconvenient, as their bakery hours are very limited. Trying to get up there during working hours to pick up a to-go box was difficult. The pricing is a bit high if you only want a small cake, especially with the exorbitant delivery fee. We ended up paying it because we could not find a place to store our cake before the wedding, but I do think it could be adjusted. Maybe the pricing levels out with bigger cakes.

From the moment we met Lauren, we knew we wanted to work with her. All of the cake flavors at the tasting were so delicious it was nearly impossible to narrow it down. She was able to bring to life our vision and sketch a design in minutes right before our eyes! Our cake was BEAUTIFUL and exactly what we an envisioned. Not only did it look amazing, it was delicious and moist! EVERY single piece of cake was eaten! We will definitely be working with her in the future! Highly recommend!

To put it simply, Fancy Cakes By Lauren is the absolutely best. I can't tell you how many of our wedding guests have come to us and told us that this was the best wedding cake they've had in their entire lives. It's been 2 months now since the wedding and our friends are still talking about how great that cake was! Lauren was also just amazing to work with. From that first tasting, she was just a little powerhouse ball of happy sunshine and was so much fun to work with. She also got the aesthetic we were going for and executed it perfectly. I truly couldn't have asked for anything more from them and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of cake!

I came to Fancy Cakes By Lauren because the cake I bought from another cake maker fell during transport the day before my wedding. I was totally in a panic! I literally saw this cake shop as I was pulling off the freeway while in route to the venue to see if they could quickly make me something for the next day. They were already booked but to my surprise they suggested trying to salvage the bottom part of the cake that didn’t fall on my dashboard. I took them up on the offer and I was beyond pleased with the results! My cake looked amazing. They literally revamped the whole cake and I was able to cut my cake with my husband on our special day! Lauren and Melinda were wonderful to work with. They helped us create a wedding cake and a groom’s cake for my wedding. They were both easy to work with, responsive, and truly cared about us and our preferences. The final products were just lovely and also tasted amazing.
