Jack In The Box

Guy in drive thru was so rude. Pulled up and weren't greeted at all, but could hear kitchen staff talking. Waited 10+ minutes, mind you, nobody in the dining area and nobody else in drive thru, finally said hello for the 3rd time to which the employee responds "I already asked what you wanted.." placed our order and he yells "i can't hear you" and had to repeat our order twice, virtually yelling at that point. Then refused to give me a receipt for my order because I wanted his name. Worst service ever and you cannot deny a customer a receipt...

I love Jack in the Box and have been missing it for years in NYC, so when I spot one in my travels, I have to go in for some tacos! I bring a cooling bag, freeze and keep some, give others to family. This particular location was very nice, clean, and was happy to oblige me in a very large order of tacos (52), which they made while I ate breakfast. Just a fast food joint, but one I happen to like.

Nice size quiet rooms, comfortable bed, clean. Marbled bathrooms. Secured entry, one has to use the room card-key to access the elevator. Front desk seems to have at least two receptionists at all times day/night. Plus, they're all super courteous. Room didn't have a coffee maker, but one can ask for it to the receptionist -free of charge.

Had to wait for almost 45 minutes just to get some tacos and curly fries and a drink. It took about 3 minutes for anyone to answer on speaker to get my order. And as soon as someone answered the speaker they told me to hold on because they are backed. when I pulled up to the drive-thru there was one truck in front of me and it took about 7 minutes until he pulled forward and I was even able to get to the speaker to order... then when I was finally able to place my order and I pulled forward to the window the same truck was still waiting at the window and it was only one vehicle in front of me... so I had to wait again behind that truck that was at the window for almost 15 minutes! I kept looking in my rearview mirror to see if there were any other cars that were coming through the drive-thru but there was not any that came through until later on when I was able to pull up to the window... I asked the employee if it was only him running the store or if they were shorthanded and then you told me the truth and he just said that there was two of them working the store. I told the employee that it's best to be honest and upfront with the guests at the speaker as to the fact that they're short-staffed and if they can hold on one moment instead of not answering at all and then when they answer it takes forever...
