Service was great, food was delicious and the setting is really nice. The pork belly melted in your mouth and beef cheek spring rolls had such good flavour 😋
Can't wait to go back. Only thing I could pick on would be that carpet would be better for noise reduction but it didn't ruin our experience.

Good service and romantic setting, nice steak and beautiful scallops but my red wine jus was tasteless just salty and my friend’s bearnaise sauce was too thick and not enough for the size of his steak. No soy milk or skim milk available for coffee. No decaf available for desert either which was quite surprising.

My favorite restaurant in Darwin! If you like meat that is the place to go! The T bone melts in your mouth. Service was very good fast and friendly. The restaurant is beautiful on the esplanade and have a nice breeze too.
The outdoor area is very green with lots of interesting plants. The history of the place is interesting and worth the trip.

What can I say! Could not fault ANY of the food - Seasonal greens was crunchy and very well seasoned. Meat from the meat platter was cooked to perfection (MR) and the grilled lemons and potatoe medallions just complimented the dish. The sauce was out if this world - fresh and full of flavour.
I mean it when I say this! BEAUTIFUL FOOD and AWESOME friendly staff! Oh and the beers goes well to 😏
10/10 Guys 🌟

I’m from Adelaide so I guess I’m spoilt when it comes to quality seafood - coffin bay, port Lincoln etc, but I have to say I think this is close to some of the worst seafood I’ve ever had. The oysters, averaging at $5.30 each, were comically small. I only took the topping off because after 2 I wondered if there were even oysters underneath. One of the oysters was still connected to the shell and also had bits of shell in it. I had the Patagonian toothfish and bone marrow as well - both as equally disappointing. The toothfish came with mussels that were not much bigger than a 5c coin, and tasted bland and like they had been sitting in their own juices for a couple of days. The atmosphere was great but when I told the waitress about my meals she said “maybe order something different next time”. For a dinner that cost me $130 I definitely expected more.

I had read previously written reviews about this place and wasn’t sure what to expect, turns out the reviews really described this place. The staff were lovely and attentive. It was interesting we were told a number of sides were unavailable however did not hear the staff say it to other tables. You certainly go for the sunset.
My partner had the cheeseburger and wasn’t impressed how it just feel apart in his hands and how dry the Wagyu pattie was. Also disappointing as they were out of fries, onion rings were the substitute however they were heavily over cooked and very tough to eat.
I had the Wagyu Ragu Pappardelle and it was delicious! The pasta was well cooked and the sauce was well done. Hard to believe the size I got was a main when it seemed more like an entree.
For entree we had the Truffle Mushroom Arancini Balls and they were so delicious, I would have been happy just eating a plate of those for mains!!
Probably wouldn’t rush to return but it had it’s pros and cons.

Its touted as one of the best restaurants in Darwin for a bloody good reason, great service, lovely decor and atmosphere and the food, well its not cheap but worth every penny, melt in your mouth steaks, the beef short rib basically dissolved on your tongue and the lamb cutlets were amazing as well, we will definitely make it at least a monthly treat, a must visit for serious foodies

I'm giving it 5 stars. I'm from Melbourne and I love going out to dinner especially for steak. I want to wade in on a bone of contention about paying a lot for a steak and then being slugged for extras. Firstly, I think part of what you are doing is renting that space, that lovely setting with the romantic lighting and that wonderful spot with possibly the best sunset in the world. That was priceless. Second, It actually isn't that expensive. The steak was of such a high quality, we had the wagu sharing board @ $70 for 2 people. $35 each... Ive paid that in pubs. It was delightful. The sauces are $4.... and you get one free. I mean come on. The sides are incredible. We had a salad with blue cheese dressing and bacon. I don't really eat salad but I just couldn't stop eating this. Lastly, they could easily give you the sides and the sauces and then really slug you for the wine but they don't. The mark up on the wine is more than reasonable. I was warned against char by a local ( who had Never actually eaten there!) But I don't think she saw the big picture. Its a wonderful high end experience with great service. We rolled out of the restaurant full and sated and happy.
