Prems Chennai Delight

This is a hidden gem of a place. The flavors are bold, authentic and the staff are very polite. Don’t expect a fancy restaurant but the food does the talking. Typical comfort Tamilnadu (South Indian) style food. I tried their Dosa with chettinad chicken curry (5/5) very good. I tired the Chicken Biryani (4/5) the taste and spicy was very good. But a tad bit dry. But the raita and masala complemented it out well.

The food was delicious I can give 5 for the food mutton biryani was too good . But, the people in the front desk (one girl)was very rude. One girl who is serving the food , she is literally throwing the food on the table and not friendly. They mentioned that they increased the prices, but it is too much. In addition to that they charge extra for additional raitha but, they are giving raitha initially was only 2 ozns. That doesn't make any sense.

There aren’t many “homey” Indian places when you go get Indian carry out. But this is definitely one of them. I’ve never had a bad meal here, dine in, or carry out. It’s one of my favorite go to Indian places for sure. They have a variety of things to choose from. The carry out is fresh and hot every time, even if you get it delivered. Awesome portion sizes. I’d say it’s a great hidden gem, but the inside is always pretty slammed when you go inside, so it’s not exactly hidden 😂

Amazing food and authentic Chennai food. I have visited many times to this place and tried various food in the menu. All were good. Only negative side is wait time irrespective of To Go orders and Dine in. But it is understandable that all these foods are made to order and it takes time for preparation during busy hours… Never compromised on the quality though. Big kudos to the Chef! Will go this place so many times!

Most disrespectful restaurant I ever visited. Insane wait times. No convincing response from the owner for all these hurdles. We travelled 100miles to taste the food in this restaurant. End up with heartfelt disappointments. Customer service / guest relation is the worst. If anyone don’t deserve a respect but want to taste the food can visit this restaurant happily. One incident below, I reported that I am waiting for 1hr since I ordered the food, owner responded that “it will take 1hr to serve, haven’t the attender informed it” . Sounds like take it or leave it. Totally a bad family time. No labor is not an excuse. Pricing too high Ambiance too bad Guest service worst Taste v good
