Raging Burrito And Taco

Took my high school Spanish class last week for Hispanic Heritage Month and they had a whale of a time. Should have seen their plates!!! Absolutely loved the outdoor setting...imagine having to cram 20+ students and chaperones inside a busy restaurant at lunch hour. And food was delicious too. One of my students even told me it's his family's regular hang out. Glad I chose it to take my chicos for their field trip. Also it's close to the square in Downtown Decatur and I allowed my and guys and gals to hang out there for a bit before heading back to our bus.

I loved my raging burrito with brisket, and the pineapple salsa was a hit with the whole table. We enjoyed sitting outside, despite the somewhat uneven ground that simply happens over time to a patio. One of our friends had their ticket lost in the kitchen, but they brought us extra chips and salsa to apologize for the delay. The wait staff noticed the error when bringing food out to others at the table and handled it right away. It's fun that they have mocktails on the menu.

Overall a good place to grab a big meal with lots of flavor. Have been here a couple times and liked my burrito both times. The two I’ve gotten have had plenty of flavor and I’ve left feeling very full - you could easily get two meals out of one burrito if you’re not super hungry. Chips and guac were very average. Guac didn’t really have much flavor to it and neither did the chips - wouldn’t recommend. Value is great if you stick to the main dishes. You order at what is essentially a counter and food is brought out, so nothing notable about the service. Outdoor patio is nice - just make sure you get a table in the shade or with an umbrella in the summer!

This was the best burrito that I’ve had since being in LA many years ago. It was big and very flavorful. It got a little soggy and started to fall apart, so you should not unwrap it completely before eating it, but little by little as you eat. I had the jerk chicken burrito and it very fresh. Customer service was very good and they offer a nice variety of menu choices.
