I ordered the chicken parmesan and the cheese garlic bread. Chicken Parmesan had a slice of bland chicken with a slice of random cheese on it (see the picture) which came with some spaghetti. Both of these lacked any flavor and the cheese wasn’t even melted and the food almost seemed undercooked. The garlic bread was also a thick slice of cheese slapped on plain bread. The worst food ever! I paid around $15 for each dish and expected decent food for that. I was so disappointed.

All of the food I've had here is delicious, high quality, and affordable; and the service is outstanding!! Everyone is so nice and very prompt. I love supporting good, local, family owned businesses, and I can't recommend this place enough! Oh, and they have THE BEST baklava in town.

Came here for lunch. We got seated immediately and got to ordering. The salads were on point. I love a big salad that can fill the belly. They have smaller ones if you just want a side with your pizza. They pizza was tasty and had a good amount of toppings. Service was on point, will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Oh my goodness.. best pizza in town.. I called them up at 8:45, I asked if they were still taking orders.. and he said I was the last one.. I ordered the Athens Special, and.. maybe the Greek, I believe..? And the house salad. The ingredients were fresh, it was just the right balance of crispy, cheesy, and toppings. It was around $60+tip.. worth it.

I lived in the area years ago when they first opened loved it then love it now. The only thing I missed was the marinated calendar I used to order and have 9nly had here one other time at a fancy restaurant in Fla. And my own I was really looking forward to it but just saw fried calendar on the menu. I was with a friend on a lunch hour so I did not ask. I will definitely ask me t visit. Also be patient they as everyone is busy and short staffed. Wait staff did their best to serve us quickly due to my friends time constraint.

I have been dining at Athens Pizza for years and have always enjoyed it. There are excellent daily specials at a good value that come with salad and bread, but I often order the eggplant parmesan, which also comes with salad and bread. The restaurant is family owned, and I appreciate that in addition to International Beer, they serve beer from local microbreweries including Terrapin, Scofflaw, and Tucker Brewing Company. Athens Pizza has both indoor and patio dining and plenty of free parking near the door.

I eat at Athens Pizza every time I come to Atlanta to see my daughter. Every meal I’ve had there has been delicious. Yesterday we had her baby shower there and it was wonderful. The staff was accommodating, the food was delicious and we had a wonderful time. See you in July when I am down for the birth of my first grandchild.
