Rocco's New York Pizza

Ordered delivery at 6:30pm, got a call shortly after informing me that they were out of an item I ordered and asking if I would like a different item.... When my food hadn’t arrived by 8 I called and was told the driver was out with my order and should be there any min. I called back at 8:45 and was told “we’re really busy” and then was told my order would be there shortly. At 9:30 I called to cancel but I was told that the food was almost there and they only had one driver. Everyone I spoke to was apologetic but I read multiple other reviews about deliveries taking 3+ hours and the food being cold. I canceled my order through grub hub just before 10... maybe try carry out rather than delivery? Update- at 10:45 I got a call from the driver at my gate. A min after buzzing him in he called me to say the restaurant said not to give me the food since I cancelled. It was probably trash after sitting in a car for so long anyway And he was sweet about it.

I noticed there was mixed reviews so I wanted to see for myself how this place was. I went afterwork so it was died inside. I only had to wait a few minutes to get my order. The pizza was actually good. Once slice didn’t fill me up but like my husband said it’s was worth the money. With my husband’s approval of the pizza I know I would be stopping by again in the future.

Almost 4 hours to receive receive pizza. Woman (who driver identified as wife of owner) kept making false promises of expected delivery time. At one point even calling me after the 15 minute period lapsed asking if I was canceling my order. I replied no as she stated it would be in route (still took over an hour after this final call). I assume many were calling as they stopped answering the phone. The pizza itself was ok (reminded me of Kroger pizza). I appreciated the honesty and apology of the driver. For the situation of poor customer service his employer put him into, he was admirable trying to assist where he could. We will not be ordering from here again.

Their online menu has a section titled: Subs. So we order a couple of cold turkey subs- mind you the menu does offer a hot turkey sub- but we ordered Cold Turkey. We pick it up- the delivery time was astronomical- When we arrive the place is empty, and there is a guy sitting out front watching his phone- I assume he is the delivery driver waiting for his next delivery? The sandwiches come out the kitchen Toasted! The menu Does not say they toast the sandwiches- it does say all subs come w fries. The bread was decent but was a little too toasted in some areas. The turkey was not turkey slices- but these thick strips of turkey. This was NOT the turkey sub we were looking for- this was not a sub. They would've been better off calling it a turkey panini-cause that's what it felt like. Will not be returning for "subs" again.
