Head West Sub Stop

They make a good sub with good ingredients but it is another one of these shops only offering sweet bread. Not sure if it is the "cool" "hip" thing to be doing but if you don't like to mix sweet with savory I would not recommend coming here. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop minus the lack of enthusiasm from the employees behind the counter.

Seem to always get my online take out order wrong. I get a chef salad with toppings and one or more toppings are always missing. I'm talking 3+ times this has happened. I have gone back before when the meat on my chef was missing. Other times I just eat it (reluctantly) so I can get back to work because I have no time to go back. This is an 8-9 dollar salad that's usually not what I ordered....I guess I could stand in the check out line and open the takeout bag and box scope my salad out carefully before leaving. Just really wish this wasn't the case. When I did go back and have them correct my order it was very, very good. I love their turkey, especially. I think this is why I keep trying!!!! Love the vibe there and everything. Just wish my order would be correct each time. :(

Ordered my first item last Friday, the Chicken Salad Salad and it was amazing! I am so happy to find a restaurant that FINALLY uses iceberg lettuce and doesn’t shred it into tiny slivers! The chicken salad is one of the best I’ve tasted, they place it on this great bed of lettuce with red onion, tomato and cheese and give your choice of dressing. SO GOOD!! And the staff is so quick and friendly! That won’t be my last trip, it may be my weekly trip from now on! If YOU haven’t tried it, you need to HEAD WEST!

The food is fantastic. the brownies are some of the best I've ever had. The problem is their delivery services. We order from here at least once a month maybe every month and a half for our Monday meetings at work. But, they can never seem to get it here on time. We always request an 11:45 delivery because our meetings start at noon. Today, they didn't show up until 12:20. I understand that places get busy and would be even more understanding if this was a one time thing. However, it happens every single time we order. Sometimes its only 5-10 minutes, but its never here on time. Unfortunately , we won't be able to order from here anymore. We can't risk it showing up late like this again.

The sandwiches are delicious but gigantic. Get a half sub if you are not on the verge of starvation or you don't plan on hibernating for the next 36 hours. I got the full sub and there was more meat on it than my last 6 Subway sandwiches combined. Kudos to them for not being stingy with the meat. They can cool it on the mayo, I mean you don't have to be like Jimmie John's and lather every bit of the sandwich in that stuff. Soda machine is a bit tricky to operate for anyone with an advanced college degree, at least my colleague had trouble figuring it out.

I went in to grab a sandwich and the staff was totally rude and acted like they were mad because they had to do something! The manager is as rude! All the standing around they do they could be cleaning up it looked gross! They need a better trainer and enforce the rules! I asked for corporates number and they refused it. It’s the same every time not just a bad day! My motto is 3x you’re out! This could be a nice place with the right training and not employees who don’t have pride and don’t care!

We ordered online and one of our coworkers went to pick up. When she got there, she was told that they were just starting to make our order (half hr later), then they proceeded to make 5 or six sandwiches ahead of ours while she stood there waiting. When she finally went back up (after being there 20 minutes, bringing us to an hr after we ordered) they were finally finishing our food. The salad came out with no dressing, the lettuce was wilty and it was just a disappointing experience. If it is going to take an hr (instead of the 30 min website quoted) to make 2 subs and a salad then they should state that online. I will never go back there!!! Just TERRIBLE!!!

If the website worked and if you were able to order hot subs up until they close would give 5 stars but last time I ordered at 930 and was told the subs would be cold (ok, no problem) when my order was delivered my chicken and my bacon were still FROZEN! On both my chicken bacon ranch and my BLT.... Haven't ordered from them since but any other time I did order food was great and delivery was fast.
