You will not find the beer selection here anywhere else. They are on point with the seasonal beers. The staff has been welcoming since day one, which has kept me, family, and friends coming back. I recommend this place to everyone as they always have something for everyone. My only regret is, it took me forever to drop in after passing it almost every day.

Great beer selection. The inventory turns over constantly, so you know you're always buying fresh beer. Extremely well-curated. Lots of beer from breweries that have extremely limited or no distribution are available regularly. No macro lagers or other bland mainstream selections. You are able to crack open whatever you buy and drink it right there. Ten rotating taps.

Love Mark and his team at Hop Scotch. This is my go to setting for a nice cider or wine when wanting to study or hangout. Plenty of game selections from card games to board games. The grilled cheese sandwiches are definitely the best in Long Island! If you want a place to chill or a place to take your friends, look no further! Also BUY A MEMBERSHIP! 👌🏾

Hops Scotch is a cozy beer shop with a bunch on tap, a ton of cans and bottles, and some outstanding grilled cheese sandwiches. The place has modern but classic vibes, with a bar in the back, walls full of cans and beers, high tables with stools and some low tables with super comfy chairs. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about all things beer, and will gladly explain any and everything. He's also super friendly and spent a good amount of time chatting us up and getting to know us. The beers were all fantastic, and I highly recommend to try out some of the grilled cheese sandwiches and the giant prey. So freaking good. Highly recommend swinging by here and enjoying a nice night out.

First time here and in love with this place. Such a comfortable atmosphere. No TV's no distractions just people enjoy good beer together. The menu may be small but extremely delicious, actually ordered an Irish jig sandwich for the road. Beer is fresh and I love seeing all the local and small breweries being given the forefront is excellent what you'd want to see. Definitely seems to be an underrated location but IMHO it's the place to go to taste and enjoy real craft beer. And I won't lie I signed up for a membership my first time there, which will not be my last!!

What a cool place! I don’t know how I’d not found this place until now, but we just stopped by Hops Scotch for the first time here at the end of June and WOW! Incredible selection, really neat place with a fun atmosphere. This is clearly a popular neighborhood hang; we spent a bit over an hour there and saw a number of people stopping in, along with a couple other families spending some time in the beer garden. It was a nice spot to sit, sip, chat, and play some of the many games they have available inside. Mark, the owner, was behind the counter when we stopped in. Very nice guy, had a great time chatting with him. We signed up for their monthly membership at the Apprentice tier, and I think that will absolutely prove to be worth it. We’ll be back soon!

Absolutely amazing experience here. I found this place a while ago and finally got to give it a try. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and everyone was very welcoming. The beer selection was very good. They have a decent amount on tap as well as a good amount of cans that were sorted by style. The sours they had were amazing, I was very satisfied. They also serve some food here, which was surprisingly good. Actually, good is an understatement, the food was fantastic. I shared a grilled cheese trio with a friend. We got the provesto, frenchie, and the Buffalo chicken. All 3 were huge and delicious, but the clear winner was the Buffalo chicken. Tender chicken and loads of blue cheese really pulled the taste together. This place also offers a membership at different levels, which is 100% worth checking out.
