The Pita Pit

This place is now my fav for lunch. I’ve ordered for multiple people on 3 occasions: every time the order was correct and delicious. Everybody loves it at work. Most of us work outside and the food doesn’t slow anyone down or make you feel too heavy. And, amazingly, it tastes SO good. I usually have it delivered, but I went inside for the first time today. First thing you notice: it smells like heaven. Second thing: great customer service. The owner must manage this place because he was great. For lunch in the Laporte-DP-Pasadena area, this place can’t be beat. UPDATE 08/05/20 - I've ordered for multiple people at least 10 times since making this review and this place still gets it right every time. Its one thing to be good, but its so hard to be consistent. Job well done!

Tonight I ordered from the Pita Pit in Deer Park through the Waitr app. A little while after placing my order I recieved a call from Pita Pit. It was the owner telling me he had finished making my order 10 mins before, he didn't know where the waitr driver was, and was concerned about my food getting cold. I told him that was fine and I wasn't too concerned about it being cold or having to wait, I wasn't that hungry so it wasn't a big deal to me. Maybe 10 mins after talking to him, the owner called back to tell me he was outside my apartment delivering my food himself and to top it off he had called waitr and had them return my tip and delivery fee! He absolutely did not have to do this for me, I wasn't complaining or upset. He actions tell me that he did this because he takes pride in his work and wants his customers to have the best experience, no matter what. Thank you Pita Pit Owner, I appreciate your kindness and I look forward to ordering from your store more often in the future.

I never experienced previous management but CURRENT management is amazing! Customer service was top notch, everyone was super pleasant when I walked in. I was greeted immediately and staff was very helpful and assisted me with making my pita selection vegan. They were aware of the basic limitations. My pita was delicious. Overall the experience was extremely positive. I will be coming back again for sure.
