Go Fish

My recent visit to Go Fish was elevated by the outstanding service of a server my partner and I met - Emma, a delightful jack of all trades. Emma's sweet personality and exceptional skills as a bartender made the experience memorable. Her expert recommendations and multitasking prowess showcased her dedication to providing top-notch service. Emma was stellar. This has been our favorite sushi spot for years and we now drive over an hour regularly ,specifically to eat here since we have moved. The mango madness and green monster are our go to rolls but we have never been disappointed with anything we have ordered. This is where we bring all of our out of town friends and we use any excuse we can to stop in and see the staff and enjoy a meal. Broadway can be chaotic but the management goes out of their way to make sure we can always enjoy sitting outside when the weather allows. Anytime an outside factor could have affected things, we receive additional items and check ins. We have become well acquainted with the staff. This is a true gem and far exceeds any other sushi place nearby while also remaining competitive in pricing. The sake, desserts and appetizers are also always phenomenal and made in house. Tony has been the manager we have personally become close with and and he has made it our go to spot.

Update 2 (July 2023): everything was A+ through and through. No complaints, service was excellent everything was excellent. I think they overcame the staffing issues because they seem to have plenty of servers for indoor and outdoor now. 100% recommend. Their cocktails are fantastic and well worth the price - recommendation is the Broadway & Ellsworth, basically a Manhattan. Update 1: had a terrible experience where service was awful (waited 20 minutes for someone to take drink order and another 20 for someone to take food order) but I'm chalking it up to being understaffed winter 2022/2023. I wish they would just limit the tables if they're short on servers. Lived in Denver for almost 2 years and finally go around to trying this place. Turns out it's awesome. Plenty of space (indoor and outdoor), and you can gear your choices toward affordable or fancier options, depending what you're feeling. Great service and delicious sushi!

Been here 2x and the food is excellent!! Gotten the shishito peppers which are so good! Husband got a couple of sushi rolls that he practically inhaled. The udon soup with tempura shrimp and veggies was especially delicious. I love the simplicity of their udon some. Rich with flavor as well. This place has become one of our favorite places. Oh and they have happy hour from like 10pm-12:30am on the weekends!!
