Swift's Breakfast

So excited that I live so close . Ordered food to go first time , and everything was excellent. Got the chorizo and egg plate . Hash browns are actually real nice cooked slices of potatoes . Excellence. The green Chile was so good n the cottage cheese had some lettuce in it, which I never tried but It was very good .:) am going back again today . Plus prices are amazing:)

Swift's Breakfast House is definitely a throwback to an earlier time. It is an old fashioned neighborhood place with prices to match. You can get a very nice meal for a reasonable price. I didn't try the chili but I can tell you the pancakes are amazing. If you are in the art district on Santa Fe Swift's should definitely be one of your stops. I really enjoyed my breakfast!

My breakfast was partly excellent, I loved the eggs and potatoes and my bacon was just right. I didn't like the pancakes, they were heavy and tasted weird. I could consider coming back because the food was good and the price amazing. I couldn't give 5 stars because I really disliked the nasty smell coming from the back, like from the drains or the bathroom. It was very foul, use a drain cleaner!!

I'm in Denver for just a couple of days and decided to rent a bike to check out the city. Garmin and Google routes suck, and after several failed attempts of finding a place for breakfast I stumbled on Swift's diner. The food?? Amazing! The service?? Amazing! Prices?? Even better!!! I ordered the Supreme Breakfast, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted just like it should. This is a hidden gem of a hole-in-the-wall diner. The servers were friendly, customers just come in and sit themselves wherever. I heard the cooks get into a heated Marvel debate, LOL. Great atmosphere, just go check it out for simple food eating.

My girl and I were in Denver for a concert (George Straight and Chris Stapleton) and stopped in at Swift's while walking the Art's District. It's a local spot that's been around for a long time. We saw several patrons greeted by name and a cute birthday celebration for a little girl. We received excellent service from our waitress. The menu had all the standards and some specials. There are also choices posted on the wall. The service was friendly and fast. The food was great. If you're looking for the local dining experience, I think you came to the right place.
