Godfather's Pizza Of Colorado

I’m from Omaha (the birthplace of godfathers pizza) when I moved to Denver I was excited to know that there are still a couple of locations here. I have to drive 30 minutes to get to this location in for me. It’s worth it because I think it’s a great quality pizza. This is kind of like an express carry out place that has a few tables. It’s not really a full-service location like other stores in Omaha. Service is ok. Young, not well trained or lead workers. It’s takes a while to get your order and pay. AND to me the pizza is worth it. It’s not thin. It’s not deep dish. It’s a heavy pizza (quantity of toppings) great robust sauce.

It was as a lot of places seem to be . A bit understaffed. The one employee did a great job! But they should have more coverage. Had to wait because he was doing it all by himself. As did others waiting to pick up food. Maybe it was time of day of someone called in. But it seems for the prices being charged that they could afford to get the one employee some help to handle the customers and prepare the products. Overall though great pizza and a good restaurant.

Disappointing. We have tried to order 4 times in the last 2 weeks with no luck. The pizza and breadsticks are good, definitely worth the extra cost compared to other places. Especially if you like a good quality, thick crust pizza. I like the golden crust over the original crust, which I didn’t think had much flavor and was a bit hard. The issue is getting an order placed. This location only seems to be open during lunch hours. All other times when placing an online order it states “this location is not accepting carry out orders at this time.” Same with delivery and dine-in when I select those. I tried calling several times with no answer around 5:30/6:00 PM on different days. When you do talk to someone, they are a friendly bunch. Same in person. Too bad the hours don’t accommodate dinner anymore.
