Komotodo Sushi Burrito

This was my first time trying a sushi burrito. Was skeptical but figured I'd check it out. Basically you get a 2x sized roll but they make sure to stuff it full of the cheaper stuff. Wasn't for me but the service and quality was fine so not gonna knock them because it's not my thing. Next time I think I'll try a bowl.

Didn't know what to expect, honestly thought they might be stuffing a tortilla with sushi but no. It's basically an overstuffed sushi roll, delicious. I also like you can get it in a bowl and make it salad based instead of rice or go half and half. Pro tip, sign up with Ritual and save a total of $10, you'll get two $5 credits.

I ordered one of the popular bowls (I forget the name) with salmon. It was so good! I love raw salmon and there was a ton of it. There was also some rock tuna. my friend had one of those burritos and she liked it but it was a little smaller than she thought it was going to be. The burritos are wrapped in nori (seaweed), so they are definitely lighter and healthier than your average burrito. I will definitely go back!

This place combines two of my favorite foods - sushi and burritos! I had the Firey Crunch burrito and it was tasty. I also ordered the wonton chips and wasamole (wassabi and guacamole combined) - it was a delicious combo. The chips need to be checked for consistency however, as some were thicker and a little more of a challenge to chew. The egg rolls my friend ordered were all over the board temperature wise and seemed mushy in the center. I would recommend everyone go try this fun restaurant.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this place. After all, I had never heard of sushi burritos before. What I found was that the crossover between sushi and burrito actually works pretty well. I'm not sure I would prefer it over a great sushi place, but it's an experience worth having at least once. Definitely get dessert. We got the fried cheesecake and it was amazing!

Ordered take-out today for lunch. Got Rack-in burrito and avocado fries. Asked for brown rice but got white rice instead, which is OK because the food is quite good and filling. My burrito basically has cooked salmon (which is well seasoned), pickled cabbage, cucumber, panko shrimp (for that crispiness), etc. Overall it was pretty good! Avocado fries is OK, not the best I’ve tried. It’s crunchy on the outside and moist in the inside but the batter is a bit thick for my taste. Would come back again for lunch! :)
