Zume Asian Cuisine

Have ordered take out a couple times. Service was iffy since both times my order was not ready at the requested pick up time. I ordered Crab Rangoon and the lunch special Basil Beef. Rangoon was dry / over cooked? The basil beef however was fresh and piping hot! Has great flavor, heat was what I would expect and plenty of food for the price. Second order was also Basile beef, again I was happy with the dish. This time I had the Hot and Sour soup. It was good though nothing spectacular and what you would expect from a place like this. I'll continue to order from time to time for lunch. I'll update when I try the Rangoon again.

I agree with the good reviews of this place. Glad I read them before going. It's 100% worth it. The food is top notch, temp is good, presentation is good. I do not exaggerate when I say - it's going to sound funny at first but down to the heavy duty paper bag used to package the takeout this place is worth every penny, they are top notch. If you’re looking for delicious Asian cuisine in the Green Valley/Montbello area, be sure to stop by Zume! I highly recommend this place for impeccable service and great food. Everything is always fresh and you can order anything on the menu and they will not disappoint! The staff is friendly and I am a regular here they can take my money anytime!

This place has the best Asian food I’ve ever had. Get the fried rice when you go!! The owner is incredibly kind and an amazing business owner. I tried about 3 different entrees and each one was so good. The Penang curry was my favorite. This is going to become your new go to spot. Absolutely delicious.

Update: April 2023 One of our ALL-TIME favorite food spot and this time, I am hoping, will become my friend's, too! Friday afternoon meet-up and there were diners there even before us before 4pm. Still, no wait for a table and a very friendly/warm welcome. We ordered: Chili Ayam Malaca Beef Rendang Boba drink and a soda. What else can I say but, it was a treat truly to end a hectic work week. My friend is now a Zume-convert lover! She 😍 the Boba and like me, had a bagful of dinner to go. Have added a new favorite, Beef Rendang. For those that may second guess themselves due to the unique dish name, I will urge you strongly to try this dish. The sauce alone is to die for....super flavorful! Of course, this does not mean all our other favorite items on their menu have been set aside. On the contrary, we have just added frequency of our take-out days to enjoy the different dishes we love. If you are a first timer to Zume, you can't go wrong with the Chicken Satay, Combination Fried Rice, Green Curry Chicken, Penang Chicken, Beef Rendang, Lo Mein.....just try them and experience why we have been loooong Zume customers. -------------------------- Update : Dec 2017 Many return visits and have always gotten our "usual favorites" but, tonight, a mix-up in my order had me taking-out the Penang Curry (Chicken, was my meat choice) instead of my intended Green Curry Chicken. Never been so happy with a mix-up because the Penang Curry is now another favorite. It is creamy, spicy yet sweet, perfect for rice pairing. Surprisingly, the different vegetables in the dish is what I love the most. Oh, we also have Sweet and Sour Chicken, but have to hold off on my review as my focus was on the Penang Curry. Yes, it was that good. This little gem of a place (fronting the Crown Plaza hotel) could easily be missed, even more with the inside a bit dark w/their lighting. - - - Our go-to "to go".....for quick delicious dinners. Love their House Fried Rice (shrimp is our favorite) , Green Curry Chicken and XO Chicken Combo. But the best is their customer service. Very fast AND always with a smile.
