Crimson And Gold Tavern

Pre and post DU Hockey! NO ONE does it better than Crimson and Gold with amazing food and drinks! IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. 100% worth it.

Very nice, helpful staff, nice patio, great drinks. Overall, great bar. However, during summer and other break periods, bar is SWAMPED with underage college and borderline high-school kids using fake id's. I don't think this is the bars fault really but when you see the ages coming in and hear them in the bathroom 3 times in a night talking about who's fake they used to get in, it becomes a bit of a problem. I have no problem having drinks with a younger crowd, but getting mean-mugged by 17 year olds was a bit much. Hope this changes. Regardless, I'll be back to give this fun bar another try. Cheers 🍻

This was my first time at Crimson and Gold Tavern and I had a great time! Emily and Laura were the bartenders and they were amazing! I came here by myself to get some work done. They were knowledgeable about the alcohol and food. They both made me feel welcome and spoke with me between serving other customers while also leaving me to my work. Very impressed with the service and selection here!

We visited on Christmas Eve, as it was one of the only places still open after a later church service. Though the evening was very slow, the bar staff did a great job making us feel at home. The kitchen was closed, but they very kindly allowed us to bring in some food from the Asian place next door. Great staff, good beer selection, and an awesome attitude makes this the bar to visit in the DU area.
