Sancho's Broken Arrow

Great neighborhood bar with friendly service and a good selection of local beers. Dark ambiance and a lot bigger inside than it seems from the outside. Lots of things to keep you entertained such as pool and air hockey tables. Music was playing at a nice volume that suited the vibe of the place. Sometimes this is just the type of laid back bar that is not pretentious that just works so well. Final note … During my six days in the area stopped in at this bar four times and can honestly say it’s my favourite bar in Denver. Looking forward to my return visit .

Sancho's family is great. If you are looking for an extensive craft beer selection or fancy cocktails you won't find that here, but you fill find a good crowd and generously-poured drinks. Smoking patio where you can bring your drink in back. It's a deadhead bar with great people, art, a classic full wraparound bar, and a few pool tables. People like to stop in before a show at the Filmore, so parking may be tough on show days. Overall a great place to hang.

I’ve personally never been here but I had to pick up my girlfriend after a somewhat rough night she had. The doorman stayed with her, made sure she was safe, ensured those around her had her best interests in mind, and made sure she called me to come get her. Even checked to make sure she got in my car. I heard nothing but good things about all the staff. Seriously commendable - more bars should strive for this level of care and concern for their patrons.

I’m from out of town and was only staying the day, my friend brought me to this bar and I thought it was one of the coolest, most genuine establishment I’ve ever been to. I never buy sovereigns for myself on my trips but I really wanted a shirt from here. They didn’t have one in my size but the owner went to his apartment and brought me back a old vintage long sleeve shirt. That guy made my day. Thanks fam.
