Habit Doughnut Dispensary

Stumbled upon this place accidentally and it was the best find of our entire trip! The drinks and donuts are delicious. Amazing food as well. Becca was a fantastic bartender! So personable and had the best recommendations for other must-see places in Denver. Totally wanna move here just for these donuts!

The donuts are a 5/5. The coffee was unfortunately a 0/5. I think we got a bad batch or something. Go for the donuts. Each day has different special donuts so check online to see what donuts you want and then go on that day. We got a strawberry cheesecake and OG blackout, both of which were phenomenal. The last was the Blazed which is a glazed donut that gets torched like a creme brûlée. That one is a daily offering. The coffee was a nitro cold brew. It just had a sour spoiled taste to it which made it undrinkable. Not sure what happened. One thought was that the milk curdled. Not sure but it was disappointing, so I can only recommend the donuts for now.

The wife and I stopped by for a doughnut and a coffee and really enjoyed our meal and time there. I had a smash berry doughnut and my wife had raspberry glaze with injected Bailey's for 2 dollars extra. Both doughnuts were quite tasty and went well with our latte's. The staff was really helpful and polite.

Rotated flavors of tasty donuts, solid prices, decent selection of items outside donuts, and full coffee menu. Huge indoor and outdoor seating areas (covid restrictions notwithstanding). Good place to hang out and eat donuts, or just pop in for a quick snack. Only criticism is I wish they didn’t box their to go donut orders in big disposable cartons. Seems wasteful.

Giving this 4 stars instead of 3 only because I think they do have a lot of room for improvement.. the espresso drink I got (americano) had weak shots, and tasted more like a diluted coffee. That being said, they have very tasty breakfast sandwiches and phenomenal breakfast potatoes (they’re like extra stuffed tots!). They designed a charming storefront though! It’s very aesthetic and they’ve got a nice couch.
