Midtown Sundries

3.0 to 4.0 We have been going to Midtown for years and it really depends on what you get and luck of the draw sometimes. My go to favorite is the Optimist Triple Decker Clubs (w/o lettuce/tomatoes). The flounder basket is my send choice as the fish is lightly battered. House chips are pretty good. Onion straws are sometimes too greasy. My son likes the chicken tenders w/fries.

I always find the staff behind the bar very friendly and quick to take an order and make a drink. The food is served with a nice presentation and tastes very good to me. The restaurant is clean with comfortable seating, indoor and out. Plenty of televisions around for viewing pool tables for players and fun with Keno.

When the tip is automatically added for large groups service is usually subpar, just as in this case. The server in no way deserved the tip she received from our party. I believe in tipping generously for great service, but never should be forced to tip for service that is lacking. I also understand prices are increasing everywhere, but it's a lot of money for not a lot of food.

Well can't recommend this place like other people who seem to enjoy food from here ate here years ago and when I did got sweet potato fries that tasted like fish told waitress and she said you want me to bring you something else I said no it took you long enough to come back to check how the food was that I was almost done with the rest of what I ordered and was ready to get the check and leave and the go back after all these years and get chips that were old not just fried chicken tenders that looked like they were fried and then put back in fryer and reheated, hush puppies were hard like they were in warmer since lunchtime.I asked for another ranch for my granddaughter and was charged 77 cents for it on the check I can go to any other restaurant and ask for dipping sauce and not be charged for it .But if the people that go here like this place all I can say is I won't be back.
