Steliana's And Sapho's Greek Taverna

We visited on a Monday and all four of us (two frequent travellers to Greece) were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, the service, and the portion sizes. Made even better by the fact the owner runs the bar, greets guests as they enter, waits, serves, and cooks all of the food. The menu has plenty of options (even for fussier eaters) and the mezze option is just an endless stream of gorgeous food, leaving everyone very satisfied.

Would just like to thank Andreas for a wonderful meal this evening. We (me, my husband and son) were late for our already later than normal booking, due to unexpected roadworks and our satnav sending us in the wrong direction, but Andreas agreed to feed us, for which we were very grateful. He didn't make us feel rushed and we enjoyed a leisurely meal despite the lateness of the hour. The food was delicious and well worth our trip from Brackenfield (Alfreton). I am sure we will visit again. Σας ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ

Went here with my girlfriend to celebrate my birthday and because I had a craving for Greek food. Boy did it deliver! First off the décor is very similar to actual restaurants I've been to in Greece so the atmosphere was set nicely. We chose the meze option and the plates felt like they didn't stop coming! Apparently we got to try everything on the menu except one dish! Each dish was very tasty and overall it was good value for the quality and quantity of the food! 100% will be back for his secret chicken recipe!
