We've just enjoyed a fabulous full afternoon tea at the coffee shop. It's right by the lock gates so we could watch the narrow boats navigate the lock gates while we were eating . The tea was superb, dainty sandwiches, slices of quiche and sausage rolls, then fruit scones with jam and fresh cream. This was followed by bite sized doughnuts, and we finished with strawberry and cream sponges. A real experience, not to be missed!!

Lovely elderly ladies behind the counter so polite and friendly I think one of their names is Marion. Wonderful food and coffee. Such a great find. Definitely would recommend it’s so Clean, cosy and welcoming.

Nice place with lovely food. Shame about the construction work to the lock, but this can't be helped. Would happily recommend and return if in the area.

We ve been coming here for 2 years now, it's in a fantastic place to watch the canal boats going through the lock. There is a an expansive menu offering delicious food and the staff are always welcoming and friendly, we can't wait for our next visit
