Shalis Take Aways

Please read the whole review as updated later the same evening Oh dear. Not used shalis for a while and after seeing a few good reviews thought we would give them a go again. NEVER AGAIN. After ordering online it stated 1hour 10minutes until delivery on a Tuesday. It came 20 minutes later than stated. Gave the driver a tip. On opening the bag we were a chicken tikka kebab short and the food was cold. Not warm. Cold. Tried to phone shalis over the next 30 minutes to let them know we were food missing but not once did they answer the call. Strange that.. I understand mistakes can happen, but cold food, food missing and not answering the phone for over 30minutes (gave up trying after 30 minutes) is just out of order. A bit like there quality and service. Shame on you Shalis. In these hard times you should be trying to encourage new customers instead of making their recent experience there last. Your loss im afraid.🤔🤔 Update.. The owner knocked on my door shorty after posting my review (he was delivering around the corner and noticed the review). He couldn't of been any more apologetic and couldn't understand why no one was taking any calls. He assured us he will go straight back and rectify the missing item and find out what went wrong. True to his word he returned within 30 minutes still apologising for the previous mistake. He didn't just bring the missing item, he returned with the full order which was just cooked hot. I now take back my previous review and thank shalis for their swift response in rectifying the original problem. Like in my previous review "everyone makes mistakes sometime" but at least shalis went above and beyond to rectify our take away delivery experience. We will be using you again after all.
