Really good pub just outside of the town centre. The menu changes each month to keep things fresh and varied. Large outside area, dogs welcome. Ive heard they do a quiz each week but not experienced that myself

A place that has lots of character, interesting items on the walls, old-world charm, and nice food. Really friendly staff a gem hiding in plain site. A must visit pub.

A friendly food and beer establishment. Had the gammon which was okay but the sauce sachets were awful.. Have drank at the pub several times and the beer is always great with a good selection. With a very interesting history behind the name.
