Lobster Claw Ii

The young man at the register was kind and helpful. The dining room is small but has great atmosphere. My kids loved the huge lobster on the wall. The food was okay, fairly average fried seafood. It was a little pricey, but not hugely so. Not for the food, anyway. We didn't order any drinks though because their prices were ridiculous. 3.25 for a small fountain drink. Also, the women's bathroom had recently been mopped but there was a brown stain on the wall that I hope was some kind of sauce ... Check the wall near the toilet paper holder and please see to that.

The best chicken tenders you'll ever have and the absolute best onion rings! No frozen stuff here! And they make their own tartar sauce and I could just eat it right out of the container it's so good! All made to order always fresh and hot. Have been going here for years and they are always consistently excellent. The seafood is also the best. No need to go to the beach when we have this gem.

The food here is excellent. Better than Clam Haven who now has new ownership and just isn't quite the same. The price is a little bit hi but Market changes. This was my first time trying this establishment after living here for a lot of years. They have won my business. I definitely will return. My scallops were perfect!

I ordered a seafood platter (the regular) for the price of $32.00 and it was a take-out...the sign inside of the lobby told me what to expect "smelts, clams, scallops, shrimp, haddock" so who cares, we will give you whatever we want !! Opened up the bag at home and opened up the plate.... I had (1) one smelt, a decent amount of clams, 4 scallops (very chewy), 3 small pieces of haddock along with 3 shrimp...but steak fries and onions rings a plenty, loads of em. Like everyone else I work hard for my money and I have no problem with a fair trade but when I buy the best that you have... I expect it !! Needless to say I and my family as well as friends will be informed of this robbery and as such will stay clear of this establishment.

It's great to see this place is still selling nice size portions while my other spots I used to like also are skimping on portions and especially condiments. I get it that seafood is expensive but I don't like to be over charged for small portions. This place doesn't do that and the food is great! We go way back!
