Sun Asian Bistro

I ordered some wonton soup and some pho for delivery, the attached photo is what I got for $10 and was the most bland and forgettable soup I have had. The chicken in the pho was so grisly I couldn't even chew it. Other restaurants in the area offer better quality for less, I suggest Spring Restaurant. 1/10 will never return.

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could! Probably the worst Asian food I've ever had! The fried rice smelled exactly like burnt hair, had zero flavor and the "pork" was tougher than shoe leather and completely inedible. The fried dumplings were flat, burnt, had a nickel sized lump of filling and tasted like salty scallions. The last thing we got was wonton soup. It also smelled terrible. It resembled dirty dish water and the wontons were also inedible. Add to all of that, the woman giving me my order was extremely rude. As she walked out with my order (that I'd been waiting about 15 minutes for), I got up to get it from her and said thank you as she was walking towards me. Instead of handing it to me, she set it down on a table before she got to me, didn't say anything and just turned her back and walked away. It was extremely rude.

I have come to Sun Asian Bistro a few times over the last year. Every time I come, whether for dine-in or take-out, I have great experiences. The food is always fantastic. I am a big fan of the steak fried rice, pad thai, and Pho. All of their options are fresh, delicious, and made to order. The staff is always very friendly. They are courteous and patient. I think the prices are fair and give great value. Their selection of adult beverages is quite good as well. The owner is the nicest, most genuine woman you could imagine. She remembers the names of her guests, cares about your experience, and does an excellent job with her staff. Their genuine care for your experience cannot be understated. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family. 10/10 would recommend.

Ordered the chicken pad thai, highly disappointed! What we got was a greasy, stuck together, platter of noodles. Huge portion (which was nice) but very little chicken, scallions were forgotten, and one lime wedge which was old and very dried out. Very little sauce on the dish as about 1\3 of the noodles had none, and the pockets that were darker and seemed had the most sauce had very little flavor at all. Restaurant itself seemed nice, was clean and had a cozy vibe. Derry needs more restaurants, and we wanted to like this one but after our experience we will not be giving it another chance.

It was fine. Service a little slow despite being empty. Gyoza were fine. Vegetarian summer rolls were 99.9% lettuce and bean sprouts. Vegetarian pho was okay. It was a HUGE portion. My kid's chicken and rice (and such) was good. Can't remember what the wife said about the special Pho. Which means that it was just okay.

I ordered the chicken pho with added vegetables. Wow, the large is large. A medium is plenty big enough for lunch or dinner. The broth was well seasoned and very flavorful. I enjoyed all the crisp vegetables and the pulled chicken. Next time, I'll try the vegetable broth with tofu. I'll definitely be back. This place was much better than others I've tried in Manchester. I'll happily take Derry over the city! The location is easy to get to with plenty of parking. Very nice staff. The restaurant was clean but a bit chilly.
