Can’t thank you enough for finally creating an entirely separate GLUTEN FREE menu! Being coeliac we can never dine out because not many hospitality entities take it seriously and usually travel to Belfast for such options, but the food here was exquisite especially the carrot purée served with my roast chicken. We are delighted we have found a new local!! Only flaw would be that there are several loose, protruding tiles in the bathroom which are a safety risk for maybe kids & elderly patrons but location, food, atmosphere & service from staff make this an exceptional dining experience & I’ve booked to return already. Great work.

I booked lunch for a 40th birthday for a large group of adults and children. The food was amazing, the setting is really cool, and we were so well looked after by Catherine and the staff. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly which made the experience feel really special for the birthday girl. Thank you.

We had our Wedding reception at Walled City Brewery. It was the best day ever! The first reason that we chose here was because the food was another level to anywhere else. Being complete foodies, we wanted restaurant quality food rather than typical hotel wedding meals. The food was unbelievable! 10/10. Every part of the meal from the canapés to dessert! Most of our guests commented on the high standard of this, saying it was the best wedding food they ever had…and we agree! The portion sizes and range of sides were also amazing. One guest who said he is never full when he goes out for meal was completely satisfied. And a lot of our guests who had never been to WCB before have since booked in for another meal. As the team had a map of where every guest was sitting and what meal they ordered, they were able to bring the food straight to each person’s seat. The chefs also accommodated vegetarian and celiac guests. One guest who is celiac said she can never really eat the food when she goes out for meals, but was able to have the same food as everyone else at this, which was amazing. One of the guests also had a special request for a completely different starter than was on offer and the team accommodated for this too. All the staff were amazing and really lovely people to work with. We were first greeted by Amanda when we called in to enquire about the possibility of having our wedding here. She was just complete positive vibes from the start and made us feel instantly welcome. It’s really thanks to her that we continued with WCB and we were so happy that she was working on our wedding day too. We then met Cat who helped us organise the rest. She was a complete pleasure to work with, totally accommodating to our ideas and coming up with brilliant ideas of her own. She organised everything to a tee! Another great personality that customers love. We also loved how the room looked, and the staff were able to quickly change it for different parts of the night, eg the meal, the cake, the dancing. The day was so personalised to what we wanted. We were able to name beers and cocktails and had the personalised menus put on each table. All the drinks were again to the highest standard! So much variety to choose from and everything tasted amazing. The bar staff on the night were brilliant. So friendly and able to make any drink request- even ones not on the menu. During the meal, we were able to have a big screen up with a projector that played photos of us with all our guests over the years growing up- a really great personalised touch. We also were able to connect our phones for the music- so we personalised the playlists for the day and night, finishing on Allez Allez Allez and You'll Never Walk Alone. The team working that night ensured everything ran smoothly and were the friendliest staff to all the guests. So many of our guests commented on this afterwards, knowing some staff by name at that stage. Finally, the location of WCB was perfect! Walking distance before and afterwards to hotels, and the walk was beautiful. Guests also had the option of free parking in the carpark behind WCB and taxi pickups were able to come right to the front door. Guests were able to go outside to cool down/have a smoke from dancing and the area felt so safe for walking around or sitting in. It also had the best view in the city, looking across Ebrington’s fairy lights to the peace bridge and the city. Thanks so much all at WCB!! <3
