Chose this restaurant for lunch on our drive from Belfast to Donegal based on reviews and it was a definite home-run!. The ambiance is quirky with colorful velvet seats and colorful decor. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was excellent. Our party of four had two of the House Club Sandwiches which were delightful, the chicken was tender, the egg was perfectly cooked, the bread was nicely toasted. The Honey & Chili Chicken was cooked perfectly, tender chicken with just the right amount of sauce and the vegetable were cooked well and very tasty with buttery goodness!. The home-run for me was the Chicken Carbonara, the Tagliatelle Pasta was cooked to perfection, just the right al dente consistency, the chicken was thinly sliced and the sauce was light and delicious. The selections were very reasonable priced for the ample amount of food.

A great spot for a bite to eat. Quality food. A lot on the menu. Glad that we had booked as it was very busy on a Friday night. It is a little expensive and the music is a bit on the loud side. However, the excellent food and service made up for these things. Highly recommended and I look forward to returning soon!

Wonderful restaurant with beautifully cooked dishes that have great flavor. The menu is clearly marked regarding allergens. Our waitress was very knowledgeable regarding our gluten free order. They have a separate frier for all things gluten free. I had the Chicken Bang Bang (pictured) and the Honey & Chilli Chicken as an appetizer, both were wonderful!

Fantastic experience in here. Staff was excellent, great environment and super food. 4 of us ate here and cleared our plates completely. It was quite expensive for the 30% off clearly helped that but I couldn’t help wondering why don’t they just change the prices to 30% less. Reading the menu felt like a bit of a maths exam. Would definitely return.

Was at Fitzroy's last night. This place is busy so better to book even though there is walk in. The staff where fantastic and very friendly and busy. The place is child friendly as well which was nice to see. The cocktails where amazing the food was fantastic good portion size and cooked the way you want it. On the plus side we got 30% of the bill as well. Little details like the name on your drink plus they have everything in place for covid. Listen folks give this place ago you won't be disappointed. I will be back again soon.... In again food still fantastic service great. Tara was fantastic all night couldn't do enough for us. Must go for great night xxx

We were pleasantly surprised by this bistro in Derry. We were here for the day and were deciding where to go for lunch and decided to go here on the strength of these reviews. We came and there was a table available for us, even though it was really busy. The service was excellent and very attentive without being overbearing. The food was very good and with generous portions. The place was good, not beautiful but adequate and pleasant. It was a very good choice. Very good food and even better service!

Arrived to Badgers Bar and restaurant late for food service and was suggested to try Fitzroys. Our party of 3 really enjoyed our food. Exhausted from a long day of sight seeing and 30 percent off was nice. We all ate and had a beer for around 40. Wings, burger and fish were yum. Sorry no food pics. Friendly staff too

I am surprised that a bistro like this offers such good fast prepared meals with nice serving. Taking a look at the offer, I would say that everybody needs to be able to choose something. What I specifically liked is that the offer doesn't consist of dishes served with French fries only, as in the restaurant everywhere else around. The prices are also very reasonable. Be aware that the place can be quite busy. There is a sitting and you need to wait for some waiter to give you a table. And it might just happen that there is no available table at the moment.

Good central location for lunch or dinner. We had a very nice lunch on a Monday afternoon in August. It was very busy so there might be a slight wait. Limited Street parking in area so plan ahead if you have a car. The place is nicely decorated and staff are friendly. One tip if you are using the stylish well appointed toilets. Tip the top of the tap backwards in order to get it to work!! Might save you a couple of minutes.
