I wish I could rate a 0. The service is terrible but second only to the food. I ordered a steak burrito and I got steak-ums. I expressed that I was expecting real steak and would perhaps like to order something different and was told this was ‘their steak.’ I had resolved to let it go & take it as a lesson learned when the manager rudely came over to the table to inform me that me ‘not liking’ the food was not enough. There had to be an issue, like the “meat was not good.” I said that the meat was not good, and she basically told me too bad. I think Taco Bell has a better steak but judge for yourself.

Food is okay. What needs improvement is the quality of customer service from the hostess and waitresses. It seems a bit unorganized and it causes long wait times. The dining area and bathroom definitely needs improvement in cleanliness, that was my first concern. I cannot dine in a dirty environment. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. I had high hopes for this place. I’m sure it can improve with the right staff!

I believe it changed ownership. The quality and service went completely down hill. The place was dirty upon entering. The same chip trays are used between tables, no paper or anything to separate from the dirty tray, salsa only one and was way watered down. We both got sick after our dinner. Beans were cooked with burned lard. Too many options in SW Detroit to waste my money and risk my health. Never comming back, way too many options. New ownership is more concerned about cutting corners and making quick money vs. quality and service.

The food was enjoyable and tasty. Staff was very professional. The roving singing quartet was superb and they sang Happy Birthday they say in English and in Spanish such a treat I will recommend folks to go there take their families their children and enjoy the atmosphere professionalism and the food
