Universal Coney Island

Get the house/homemade ranch that pack ranch is disrespectful. Food was soggy, they're not allowing it to cool some before closing it up in the containers. Very fast service though line was in the street and i dont think we waited even 20 mins before it was our turn. I wasn't able to eat my food (8pc wings) due to how soggy it was but my best had the chicken pita and I was jealous 😒

Coney Islands in Detroit are a staple of the city. You don't have to go far to run across one when you're in the mood for a artery clogging meal. Universal Coney Island is one of my favorites when I'm in the area and want a Coney dog. Reuben Sandwich or 2-3 Coney dogs is what I grab here. I have no complaints, the dogs are hot and fresh, have the meaty taste and casing snap with every bite. The Reuben sandwich is a decent size and always hot. This place stands out for their quality. You can tell they put effort in serving fresh and quality ingredients. That says a lot for a Coney island in the city. Service is fast, friendly. The only thing I don't care for is the fountain beverages and usually pick up at gas station near by. I'll give other options a try very soon, buts it hard when the Coney dog smell hits me.

So I will say I work in the service industry and this is one of my accounts and I DO NOT eat at a lot of my accounts often while working but everytime I come here I always eat and I’m always impressed with the food Every single time. Now with that said I only eat Breakfast food here so I can’t vouch for other lunch and dinner foods but I will say what I do eat is always 100% Slappin!!!!! And location is especially clean and that is A-1 in my Book!!!!!
