It’s an unfussy menu as you would expect from a proper fish and chip place. The chips are the tastiest we’ve had in a long time and the Haddock was beautiful. Meal deals are great value on set days during the week and mostly all served with a pot of tea and buttered bread. We can’t recommend it enough.

I paid for a regular battered haddock meal deal for £10.85. The meal came with my fish of choice, chips, my side of choice with large pot of tea or coffee which you get 2 to 3 cups out off. The lovely waitresses that served me brought out extra hot water for me to top up my teapot. The food was phenomenal, the fish is the best I’ve ever had. Fresh and the batter, to die for. The chip was clearly made in house and not bought in because they was amazing, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. My side of mushy peas tied the experience up as a party in my mouth. The only problem I had was that I couldn’t fish my food and I didn’t want to stop eating. Excellent fish and chips and would definitely advise you to try

This business has it worked out perfectly. Short queue on a Saturday at 11.50. They seated a few at a time. Only a couple of minutes before they take your order and at the most 6 minutes and your food is in front of you. Fish and chips with mushy peas all hot and very fresh from the pan. I was alone and the small tables were ideal. Baby chairs are available. Decaf tea made my day as it's not always available. There were more waiters than average and very efficient. Several people cooking and keeping up with demand, all nicely cooked. A big pat on the back to the youngster clearing tables ready for use by others. Take away available. An excellent experience.
