Probably the best rooms to stay in locally. Poor service though, you could wear a pink hat, wait ages to be served and the guy in grey who's just turned up at the bar gets served instantly, Wetherspoons trait in some pubs. But great value and good food and drinks.

Stayed here whilst on a stag do, the room was great, very clean, the bathroom was also very clean, and had a decent shower. The pub is in an excellent location for a night out and, being a Spoons, is very reasonably priced.
Whilst in the room you wouldn't know you were above a busy pub, it was very quiet upstairs, obviously done a great job with the soundproofing.
I would definitely stay here again.

I would just like mention a manager who went above and beyond for me. You don't see it often, but Wayne did this for me. I cant thank Wayne enough and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves as delivering that sort of customer service happens rarely, having a focus of doing all you can for your customer happens rarely now. Thank you so much Wayne.

Upon arrival we received a lot of explanation. our room was neat and tidy. and you were certainly not short of anything for breakfast

Great room. Beautiful beams. Great bathroom with a great shower. Really clean. Bottled water was a nice touch. Really friendly and helpful staff. Would stay there again.

Nice Wetherspoon pub. Clean and tidy inside and very warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly and polite and provided great service. Food was good quality, and drinks were very well priced as you'd expect. Ordered most of the items on app to table, which was seamless and quick.

Very good Spoons, plenty of room, great staff, food very good, clean but yes, you've guessed it, the toilets are a 2 mile hike upstairs, not good for my old knees. 😂 Highly recommend and will visit again on my next visit to Donny.👍 This review is only for the Bar AND NOT the Hotel.

Was on my works Xmas night out ,I had a 8oz steak ,I asked for it to be well done , disappointed that the chef could not get it right ,it was raw ,they apologised & took it away fetch me another but it wasn't a 8oz steak that I had payed for ,i couldnt be bothered to say anything again safely to say I won't be eating there again ,very disappointed customer .
